Mina Sundwall (born October 23, 2001) [1] [2] is an American actress. She is best known for portraying Penny Robinson in the 2018 Netflix television series Lost in Space . [3] [4]

Biography

Sundwall was born on October 23, 2001 in New York City to Swedish and Italian parents.[ citation needed ] In 2012, she made her first appearance on television in a season 4 episode of Celebrity Ghost Stories . [5] She appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2014. [6] In 2015, she acted in the romantic comedy-drama Maggie's Plan , [7] the drama Freeheld, [8] and the horror film #Horror . [9] She played the role of Penny Robinson in the Netflix series Lost in Space , which first aired in April 2018. [10]

In May 2022, Sundwall joined the cast of thriller podcast series Jane Anonymous, based on the novel of the same name by Laurie Faria Stolarz. [11]

Lost in Space is an American science fiction television series, created and produced by Irwin Allen, which originally aired between 1965 and 1968 on CBS. The series was inspired by the 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson. The series follows the adventures of the Robinsons, a pioneering family of space colonists who struggle to survive in the depths of space. The show ran for 83 episodes over three seasons.
