Makhdoom Syed Minhajuddin Rasti Gilani Firdausi (1250-1381) [1] [2] [3] was a Sufi saint of the Suhrawardiyya Silsila. He was disciple and mureed of the Syed Sheikh Sharfuddin Yehya Maneri. [4] [5] [6] He was died in Phulwari Sharif and laid to rest at Tamtam Padhav in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar. [7] He is known to be the first sufi saint who came to Phulwari Sharif. Early life and education

Syed Shah Minhajuddin Rasti Gilani Firdausi was born as Syed Minhajuddin Rasti to Sufi saint Syed Shah Tajuddin Rasti Gilani who was son of sufi saint Syed Abdur Rahman Gilani at Gilan, Iran in year 1250. His family chain goes to Syed Ali Musa Raza to Syed Imam Hussain.

He reached India and became a student of Sufi saint Sharfuddin Yahya Maneri and became mureed of Firdausia silsila under the Suhrawardiya silsila and got the Khilafah of Sharfuddin Yahya Maneri.

The Chhoti Dargah is a shrine located in Maner Sharif, Patna district of Indian state of Bihar. It is the shrine of Makhdum Syed Shah Daulat Maneri and Ibrahim Khan Kaskar. It was built by Ibrahim Khan Kaskar in 1619. It is under control of Archaeological Survey of India. Is is nearby the Badi Dargah where Makhdoom Yahya Maneri is buried.
