Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Lee Lam Thye is a Malaysian politician and now as independent social activist (once formerly as social activist for the Democratic Action Party. Lee was born on 30 December 1946 in Ipoh, Perak. He completed his secondary education at St Michael's Institution in Ipoh, Perak where he obtained his Senior Cambridge Certificate in 1965.
Orang Ulu is an ethnic designation politically coined to group together roughly 27 very small but ethnically diverse tribal groups in northeastern Sarawak, Malaysia with populations ranging from less than 300 persons to over 25,000 persons. Orang Ulu is not a legal term, and no such racial group exists or is listed in the Malaysian Constitution. The term was popularised by the Orang Ulu National Association (OUNA), which was formed in 1969.
The Lukut Fort and Museum is a historical site in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The fort was built by Raja Jumaat in 1847 and later controlled by his son Raja Bot. Located on a hill, it is in ruins and the area has been converted into a historic recreation park above the museum. The museum houses some of the antiquities of the fort, apart from artefacts and pictures related to the history of the past tin extraction done in Lukut area.

He was the state COVID-19 spokesman and coordinating minister of the GRS state government of Sabah. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he spoke frequently on the response of Sabah towards the pandemic. On 13 January 2023, Joachim Gunsalam took over the duties from him. He is a member of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN), a component party of the GRS coalition. He has also served as the Deputy President of GAGASAN since February 2023. He also served as the State Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party of Sabah from April 2019 to his resignation from the party in December 2022 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) from August 2020 to January 2021.

He is a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the Vice President of PH since August 2021 and Deputy President of UPKO since November 2019. He is also the son of former State Minister of Housing and Local Government of Sabah Peter Joinud Mojuntin who died in the Double Six Tragedy on 6 June 1976.
