The Dangbe language, also Dangbe or Adaŋgbi, is a Kwa language spoken in south-eastern Ghana by the Dangbe People (Dangbeli). The Dangbeli are part of the larger Ga-Dangbe ethnic group. Klogbi is a variant, spoken by the Kloli. Kropp Dakubu (1987) is the most thorough grammar of the language.
The Greater Accra Region has the smallest area of Ghana's 16 administrative regions, occupying a total land surface of 3,245 square kilometres. This is 1.4 per cent of the total land area of Ghana. It is the most populated region, with a population of 5,455,692 in 2021, accounting for 17.7 per cent of Ghana's total population.

Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, which was created from the former Dangme District Council. However on 28 June 2012, it was split off into two new districts: Shai-Osudoku District and Ningo-Prampram District. The district assembly was located in the eastern part of Greater Accra Region and had Dodowa as its capital town.

The Central University was founded by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in Accra, Ghana. It was founded as a pastoral training institute by Mensah Otabil in 1988. In June 1991, it was known as the Central Bible College. It later became the Central Christian College in 1993 and eventually became the Central University College in 1998. In 2016, Central University College attained the status of a fully-fledged University thus now Central University. The stated aims of the university is to provide an "integrated and biblically-based tertiary education with particular reference to the needs of the African continent". It is currently the biggest private university in Ghana.
The Ningo-Prampram Constituency is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. The constituency derives its name from the two towns located within the constituency. The towns are the much larger and older Ningo and the relatively younger Prampram which is much smaller. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Ningo-Prampram is located in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Central University College has a campus at Miotso near Prampram and plans are underway to relocate its other campuses to Ningo-Prampram. Hope City which was initially planned to be built at Kasoa has also been relocated here. Plans are also underway to build the new international airport at a location near Ningo.
Enoch Teye Mensah is a Ghanaian politician. He was a Minister for Education and a Member of Parliament in Ghana from January 1997 till January 2017. He is popularly referred to as E. T. Mensah.

Shai Osudoku District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Dangme West District in 1988, which was created from the former Dangme District Council, until the southern part of the district was split off to create Ningo-Prampram District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Shai-Osudoku District. The Shai Osudoku District Assembly is located in the eastern part of Greater Accra Region and has Dodowa as its capital town, which is about 39 km from the regional capital, Accra.
Samuel Nartey George is a Ghanaian politician. He is from Ahwiam, Old Ningo. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress. In November 2015, he defeated the incumbent E. T. Mensah to represent the party in the 2016 parliamentary elections for Ningo-Prampram Constituency. He is currently a member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing Ningo-Prampram constituency.
Fort Vernon was a military structure designed to facilitate the Atlantic slave trade. The Royal African Company built the fort in 1742 near Prampram, a town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was built out of cheap materials – rough stones and swish. The Danes destroyed the fort before 1783. The British rebuilt it in 1806, but it soon started to collapse and was abandoned in about 1816. It was re-occupied by the British in 1831 but was again abandoned in 1844. It subsequently became ruins. Because of its importance during the slave trade and its testimony to European economic and colonial influence in West Africa, the fort was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979, along with several other forts and castles in Ghana.

Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Dangme East District in 1988, which was created from the former Dangme District Council, until the western part of the district was split off to create Ada West District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Ada East District. The district assembly is located in the eastern part of Greater Accra Region and has Sege as its capital town.

Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Dangme West District in 1988, which was created from the former Dangme District Council, until the southern part of the district was split off to create Ningo-Prampram District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Shai-Osudoku District. The district assembly is located in the eastern part of Greater Accra Region and has Prampram as its capital town.
Kpone-Katamanso Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Tema Municipal District, which was created from the former Tema District Council, until the eastern portion of the district was split off to create Kpone-Katamanso District on 28 June 2012, which was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2031; thus the remaining part has been retained as Tema Metropolitan District. However on 15 March 2018, it was later elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Kpone-Katamanso Municipal District, which was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2271. The municipality is located in the central part of Greater Accra Region and has Kpone as its capital town.
Ledzokuku Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the defunct Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal District on 29 February 2008, until part of the district was split off to create Krowor Municipal District on 15 March 2018; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Ledzokuku Municipal District. The municipality is located in the central part of Greater Accra Region and has Teshie-Nungua as its capital town.
