Derry City Football Club is a professional football club based in Derry, Northern Ireland. They play in the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top tier of league football in the Republic of Ireland, and are the League of Ireland's only participant from Northern Ireland. The club's home ground is the Brandywell Stadium and the players wear red and white striped shirts from which their nickname, the Candystripes, derives. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1951.

Gregory Brian Mancz is an American professional football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 2015 to 2022, primarily with the Houston Texans. He was lightly recruited out of high school in 2010 and ended up playing college football for the Toledo Rockets of the University of Toledo, where he was a four-year starter at several positions along the offensive line. He earned various All-American and All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) honors during his college career. His senior season in 2014, he won the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is given to the best player in the MAC. Mancz went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft and signed with the Texans shortly thereafter.
Patrick Ricard is an American professional football fullback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Maine. Ricard was originally signed by the Ravens as an undrafted defensive end following the 2017 NFL Draft but began playing fullback that off-season and would play both defensive end and fullback as a two-way player in his rookie season. He has also been a core special teams player.
