Mirko Frezza (born 15 September 1973) is an Italian actor.
Born in 1973 in Rome, and the son of a convicted criminal, he grew up in the outskirts of Tor Cervara, where from a young age he was involved in petty crime, leading to an eight-year prison sentence. [2] After his prison experience, he decided to focus on social activism to revitalize the suburbs through the "Casale Caletto" neighborhood committee, of which he became president. [3] Noticed by actor Alessandro Borghi, with whom he started a friendship, he was introduced to the world of entertainment, initially as a location scout for film shoots in the Roman suburbs, and later as an actor in minor roles. [3]
In 2016, Frezza made his debut as a leading actor in I Was a Dreamer , directed by Michele Vannucci. The film, which tells Frezza's story from his experience in prison to social redemption, was well received by critics. [2] [4]
In 2018, he was part of the cast of Reckless by Marco Ponti, Dogman by Matteo Garrone, and As Needed by Francesco Falaschi. [2] That same year, Frezza took part at the Rai 2 television show Pechino Express , but had to withdraw due to an injury. [5] In 2023, he portrayed the titular character in the drama film Goliath. [6]
Since 2016, he has played the character of Furio Lattanzi in the main cast of the crime series Rocco Schiavone . [7]

The Boondock Saints is a 1999 American-Canadian vigilante action thriller film written and directed by Troy Duffy in his feature directorial debut. Starring Willem Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco, and Billy Connolly, the film follows Irish fraternal twin brothers Connor and Murphy MacManus, who become vigilantes after killing two members of the Russian mafia in self defense. After both experience an epiphany, the twins, together with their best friend "Funny Man" Rocco (Rocco), set out on a mission to rid Boston of the criminal underworld in the name of God, all the while being pursued by FBI Special Agent Paul Smecker (Dafoe).
