Miselaine Duval Vurden is a Mauritian comedian, television producer and writer best known as a cast member of the television series Fami Pa Kontan and Kel Famille . She is the founder of the comedy group Komiko. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Life and career

Miselaine Duval was interested in acting from the age of 12. After completing her studies, she began playing various roles in TV programs and eventually decided to pursue a career as a comedian.

<i>Chose Promise</i> Play

Chose Promise is a one-man show performed by the French comedian Arnaud Tsamere from 2007 to 2014. Written by Tsamere, François Rollin and Arnaud Joyet, it features the character Patrice Valenton, a teacher who is performing a comedy show because of a promise he made to his friend Rémi, who died in a car accident. After explaining this, he attempts ventriloquism, shadow puppetry, a vaudeville play and a song about Rémi. Tsamere then comes out of character and does a routine about bulbs around mirrors in dressing rooms.

The 2017 Bloc Québécois leadership election was held on March 14, 2017 to choose a successor to Gilles Duceppe, who resigned on October 22, 2015 after the 2015 Canadian federal election. Rhéal Fortin, MP for Rivière-du-Nord, had been serving as interim leader since Duceppe's resignation.
