The Miss Belgian Beauty contest is the second-largest beauty pageant in Belgium. It was first held in 1991 and is owned by Ignace Crombé.

The Cyclo-cross Namur, also called the Citadelcross, is a cyclo-cross race in Namur, Belgium. The track is on the hills around the citadel there. First held in 2009, it was originally part of the Gazet van Antwerpen Trophy but became part of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in the 2011–2012 season.

Het Denkgelag organization

Het Denkgelag is a Belgian association without lucrative purpose that organises skeptical conferences in Flanders. Het Denkgelag started out in 2012 as a series of discussion evenings of the skeptical organisation SKEPP, but nowadays functions financially and legally independent from SKEPP. The mission of Het Denkgelag is to popularise scientific topics and to promote critical thinking for a broad audience. It has been described as “laid-back discussion evenings on philosophical, skeptical and scientific topics, in an informal atmosphere, with a crowd of interesting speakers and the audience as the central guest”.

Deuzeld Place in Flemish Region, Belgium

Deuzeld is a neighborhood in the Belgian municipality of Schoten. The neighborhood is located southwest of central Schoten, and lies near the border with the Antwerp district of Merksem. To the south of the Deuzeld neighborhood lies the Albert Canal, which connects Antwerp with Liege. A derailment of a passenger train occurred on 18 February 2017 at Leuven, Belgium. One person was killed and 27 were injured. The cause of the derailment was excessive speed through a set of points.
