The Mitéuca River is a river of Piauí state in northeastern Brazil.
Maranhão is a state in Brazil. Located in the country's Northeast Region, it has a population of about 7 million and an area of 332,000 km2 (128,000 sq mi). Clockwise from north, it borders on the Atlantic Ocean for 2,243 km and the states of Piauí, Tocantins and Pará. The people of Maranhão have a distinctive accent inside the common Northeastern Brazilian dialect. With 871,126 inhabitants, Teresina is the 21st largest city in Brazil, and the 15th largest state capital in the country. Together with Timon in the nearby state of Maranhão, it forms a conurbation with a population of about 978,734 inhabitants; the entire metropolitan region of Teresina has over 1,226,509 inhabitants. The only natural barrier that separates Teresina from Timon is the Parnaíba river, one of the largest in the Northeast.
Parnaíba is a city in the Brazilian state of Piauí. Having a population of over 150,000 inhabitants according to IBGE's 2020 report, it is the second most populous city in the state, after the capital Teresina. It is one of the four coastal municipalities in Piauí.
Timon is a Brazilian municipality in the State of Maranhão. The population is 170,222 and the total area is 1765 km2.
The Chapada das Mangabeiras is a mountain range in central Brazil. The range runs northwest–southeast, and separates the basin of the Tocantins River to the southwest from the upper basin of the Parnaiba River to the northeast. The range also forms the boundary between Tocantins state and the states of Maranhão and Piauí. The highest points of both states are located there. The points are unnamed locations, one measuring 804 meters (Maranhão), and the other, 860 meters (Piauí).

Esporte Clube Flamengo, or usually called Flamengo do Piauí, are a Brazilian football team from Teresina in Piauí, Brazil founded on December 8, 1937. Their home stadium is the Albertão, which has a maximum capacity of 60,000 people. Their kit is black and red shirts, black shorts and red and black socks. Flamengo has competed in the Série A several times. Despite having the same name and colors, they should not be confused with the more well known and popular Flamengo from Rio de Janeiro.

Floriano is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Piauí. It was founded by the Arabs and Syrians. It is situated in the physiographic zone of the Médio Parnaíba, on the right side of the Parnaíba River, in front of the city of Barão de Grajaú, in the Maranhão. It is also intersected by the rivers Gurguéia and Itaueira.
The Canindé River is a seasonal waterway flowing into the Parnaiba River near Amarante in the State of Piauí in northeastern Brazil. The stream flows for approx. 350 km from headwaters in the foothills on the Piaui/Pernambuco border northwest into Piauí then through Paulistana and Oeiras to Amarante on the junction of the Canindé with the Parnaiba. Oeiras is the main commercial center in the Canindé River valley. The biome type along the river is caatinga, which is composed of typical northeastern Brazilian semiarid vegetation. The river and fauna and flora of the environs were described by the German naturalists Johann Baptist von Spix and Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius during their travels in Brazil in April and May, 1819.

The Brazilian monitor Piauí was the fourth ship of the Pará-class river monitors built for the Brazilian Navy during the Paraguayan War in the late 1860s. Piauí passed the fortifications at Humaitá in July 1868 and provided fire support for the army for the rest of the war. The ship was assigned to the Mato Grosso Flotilla after the war. Piauí was scrapped in 1893.

He has represented Piauí in the Federal Senate since 2011. Previously, he was a Federal Deputy representing Piauí from 1995 to 2011. He is a member of Progressistas.

She represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2017, where she placed in the top ten.
The Federal University of Piauí is a federal university in Teresina, Piauí. It is the major university in the state of Piauí and one of the main research centers in Brazil's Northeast Region.
