Mohamed Ahmed is an Egyptian paralympic powerlifter. [1] He competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the powerlifting competition, winning the silver medal in the men's 107 kg event. [2] [3] [4]

Rolland Ezuruike is a Nigerian powerlifter. He competed in the men's 72 kg event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won a silver medal. On 9 September 2016, he set a new paralympics record in the men's – 54kg category after lifting 200kg at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also competed in the men's – 54kg category at the 2015 African Games, where he also won gold. Ezuruike improved his previous Commonwealth performance by winning gold in the men's lightweight powerlifting at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Egypt competed at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, Spain. The 41 member team competed in athletics, powerlifting and shooting. They won 20 medals including 7 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze, finishing 19th on the medal table. Members of the team included athletics competitors Ahmed Mohamed, Said Afifi, Aymen Ibrahim, Hany Mohamed, Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed and Mohamed Said, and shooter Sherif Abd Alla.

Fatma Omar is an Egyptian powerlifter competing in the -56 kg category. She is a dominant power in her sport, winning gold in her event in four Summer Paralympics, and another four gold medals at the IPC Powerlifting World Championships.

Mohamed Elelfat is an Egyptian Paralympic powerlifter competing in the -72 kg class. Elelfat has participated in four Summer Paralympic Games winning silver in the -75 kg category in the 2012 Games in London. He also won the bronze medal in the men's 80 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. A few months later, he won the bronze medal in his event at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Rehab Ahmed is an Egyptian Paralympic powerlifter. She is a two-time silver medalist at the Summer Paralympics and a three-time gold medalist at the World Para Powerlifting Championships.

Yang Yan is a Chinese paralympic powerlifter. She participated at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in the powerlifting competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's 52 kg event. Yan also participated at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the powerlifting competition, being awarded the silver medal in the women's 60 kg event. She participated at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the powerlifting competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's 61 kg event.

Nadia Mohamed Ali is an Egyptian powerlifter. She has represented Egypt at the Summer Paralympics five times, in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2016 and 2024. In her first three appearances there, she had won a medal. She has also appeared in the World Para Powerlifting Championships six times, winning four medals.
