Mohamed Ali Fatnassi is a paralympic athlete from Tunisia competing mainly in category F20 shot put events.
Mohamed's only appearance at the Paralympics was in 2000 Summer Paralympics where he won a silver medal in the F20 shot put. [1]
Gino De Keersmaeker is an athlete and Paralympian from Belgium competing mainly in category F42 discus throw and shot put events. He competed in all 6 Paralympic Games between 1992 and 2012, winning a gold medal in 1996 and silver medals in 2000 and 2004.
Algeria made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, sending two competitors in athletics, and a goalball team. The country has taken part in every edition of the Summer Paralympics since then, but has never participated in the Winter Paralympics.
Tunisia made its Paralympic Games debut at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul. It was represented by a single athlete, Monaam Elabed, who won two bronze medals in athletics. The country has competed in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, although it has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics. Tunisian competitors have only ever taken part in athletics events, with the sole exception of Dalila Tabai who competed in powerlifting in 2000.
Ecuador made its Paralympic Games début at the 1976 Summer Paralympics in Toronto, with a small delegation of three competitors in track and field and swimming. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, except 1980 and 1988, but has never entered the Winter Paralympics. Ecuador's delegations have always been small.
Bahrain made its Paralympic Games début the same year as its Olympic début, at the 1984 Summer Paralympics in Stoke Mandeville and New York City, sending a delegation to compete in athletics. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics.
Latvia, following its independence from the Soviet Union, made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, with a delegation of two athletes in track and field. It then sent Supulnieks as its sole representative to the 1994 Winter Paralympics, for its Winter Games début. Latvia has taken part in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but missed the 1998 and 2002 Winter Games, appearing with a one-man delegation in 2006, before being absent again in 2010.
The 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships was held in Christchurch, New Zealand from January 21 to 30, 2011. Athletes with a disability competed, and the Championships was a qualifying event for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Nadia Medjmedj is a Paralympian athlete from Algeria competing mainly in category F56 shot put and discus throw events.
Mi Na is a Paralympic athlete from China. She competes in throwing events for F37 classification cerebral palsy athletes. From April 2014 until September 2016 she held the women's F37 World Record in the shot put. She holds the world record in the F37 discus throw. She won 9 medals at the Paralympic Games and 12 medals at the IPC Athletics World Championships.
Wu Qing is a Paralympic athlete from China competing in throwing events in the F36 cerebral palsy classification. As of April 2014, Wu holds F36 World Records for shot put, discus and javelin.

Its delegation consisted in six track and field athletes and two competitors in powerlifting. Sprinter Mohamed Allek, who has cerebral palsy, won all of Algeria's medals at these Games - three gold.
Todd Hodgetts, is an Australian athlete on the autism spectrum who won a gold medal at the 2012 London Paralympics and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, and also competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Brydee Moore is an Australian athlete with cerebral palsy that competes in the shot put, discus and javelin. She won a silver medal at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics.
Jessica Helen Gillan is a New Zealand paralympic athlete and shotputter. She represented New Zealand at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing and the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, the latter where she won a bronze medal in the Women's shot put F34.
San Marino made its Paralympic Games début at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, sending a single, wildcard wheelchair athlete to compete in the shot put. He did not win a medal.
Mariia Pomazan is a Ukrainian Paralympic athlete. She competes in throwing events in the F35 classification for athletes with cerebral palsy. As of April 2014, she holds Women's F35 world records for shot put and discus.
The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.
Nicole Harris is an Australian Paralympic athlete with intellectual disability and mild cerebral palsy. She represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics.
Niko Kappel is a German Paralympic athlete of short stature. He represented Germany at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the gold medal in the men's shot put F41 event. He also represented Germany at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan and he won the bronze medal in the men's shot put F41 event.
United Arab Emirates competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021.
