Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is a public medical college and hospital located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established on 10 July 1946, the college houses a medical school as well as a tertiary care hospital on its campus.

Abu Taher Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, was a Bangladeshi film and television actor, director and screen-playwright. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2015 by the Government of Bangladesh. He won Bangladesh National Film Awards five times for his roles in Dayee Ke? (1987), Madam Fuli (1999), Churiwala (2001), Mon Bosena Porar Table E (2009) and Chorabali (2012).
Enamul Haque, sometimes Enamul Huq, was a Bangladeshi actor, academician and playwright. He acted in stage, television and film mediums. He was a professor at the Department of Chemistry of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2012 by the government of Bangladesh for his contribution to fine arts.

Maniruzzaman, also known as Mohāmmada Manirujjāmāna is a retired Professor of Linguistics at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. His publications include 18 authored books and eight edited books; his writings include poetry, song lyrics, literary criticism and studies of folklore, as well as linguistics. He was awarded the 2015 Bangla Academy Literary Award in the Research category and the 2023 Ekushey Padak in the language and literature category.
Husna Banu Khanam was a Bangladeshi educationist, writer and Nazrul singer. She was a pioneer of Bengali Muslim women journalism. In 1999, she received the Ekushey Padak Award for her contribution in music, and in 2004, she received the Begum Rokeya Medal for her contribution to the socio-economic development of women by the Government of Bangladesh.
