Early life and education

Goje was born in Yobe State, Nigeria. [4] He experienced displacement as an internally displaced person (IDP) for two years, which influenced his commitment to humanitarian work. [4]

Goje holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Human Anatomy from the University of Maiduguri. [4] He earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Texila American University in Guyana. Career

Goje began his career in public health and humanitarian sectors. He served as a Health Specialist with UNICEF in Nigeria, focusing on maternal and child health in underserved areas. [4] He was a Program Manager at Save the Children International, leading initiatives on child protection, health, and nutrition in conflict zones. [4] Goje also worked as a Consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO), providing expertise on public health emergencies. [4] Prior to his current role, he was a Humanitarian and Vaccine Analyst with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), supporting a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation grant in Yobe State. [4] [6]

In June 2019, Goje was appointed Executive Secretary of YOSEMA by Governor Mai Mala Buni.
