Moore was raised near Gloucester, Ontario. She began writing in earnest while at Emily Carr Middle School. Her interest in the fantasy genre began to blossom after studying Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea novels in grade 7, and she would escape school grounds during lunch hours to play Dungeons & Dragons with a group of friends. Subsequently, she went to high school at Canterbury High School (Ottawa) for the Performing Arts to study clarinet. Her post-secondary studies were at Carleton University and then a law degree at Queen's University.
She practices family law while writing in her spare time, or vice versa.
A series of books exploring the adventures and relationships of bonded Pairs (magic-endowed individuals termed "Source" and "Shield") who work together to make the land habitable and keep the citizenry safe.
The Bonded Pair relationship works by the "Source" channelling the energy of disastrous natural events (such as earthquakes) while the "Shield" protects the Source from the effects of channelling. Their bond is such that the death of one would produce the death of the other. Bonding is involuntary but permanent and makes for a very intense working relationship between people who might not otherwise choose to have anything to do with each other.
The stories concern a particular bonded pair - Shintaro Karish and Dunleavy Mallorough - who are very different and initially totally fail to understand each other but ultimately come to recognise each other's worth. Their relationship is somewhat reminiscent of Elizabeth and Darcy in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in that the middle-class Dunleavy (Lee) is prejudiced against the rich, aristocratic Shintaro (Taro) because of his (undeserved?) reputation.
On March 29, 2007, Moore announced on her blog that ACE would not be publishing book three of the series, despite an outcry from fans and the fact that this book was already written. [1] On 14 April, however, she reported that ACE had changed their minds and published the third and fourth book. [2]
Moore announced on her blog on August 30, 2011, that ACE would not be publishing the rest of the Hero series but she planned to complete the series and post it on her blog and/or website for people to read for free. [3]
Twisted pair cabling is a type of wiring used for communications in which two conductors of a single circuit are twisted together for the purposes of improving electromagnetic compatibility. Dr. Moira MacTaggert, more recently known as Moira X, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men #96 and was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Dave Cockrum. She works as a geneticist and is an expert in mutant affairs. She is most commonly in association with the X-Men and has been a member of the Muir Island X-Men team and Excalibur.
Smax is a fictional character from the comic book series Top 10 written by Alan Moore, illustrated by Gene Ha, and published by America's Best Comics imprint of DC Comics. A Top-10 spin-off mini-series also called Smax focused on the character and provided him with more of a backstory.
Wolfsbane is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is commonly associated with the X-Men. A Scottish mutant, Wolfsbane can transform into a wolf or a transitional state somewhere between human and wolf, similar to a werewolf. She honed her powers to shift between human and wolf characteristics but must keep her feral instincts at bay when she does.

Voodoo is a fictional comic book superhero, appearing in books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Brandon Choi and artist Jim Lee, she first appeared in WildC.A.T.S. #1, which was produced by Jim Lee's studio, WildStorm comics, and published by Image Comics. After WildStorm and its properties were purchased by DC Comics in 1999, the character continued as a character in books under the WildStorm imprint, until DC discontinued the WildStorm imprint in December 2010.
Spy High is an English book series by English writer A. J. Butcher about a high school for secret agents in training. It is divided into two series of six books each. Series One, first published in 2003 and 2004, is about Bond Team as a whole. Series Two, first published in 2004 and 2005, follows each member of Bond Team on a mission, taking place two years after graduation.

She is married to fellow X-Men villain Mystique, and is known for being a prominent LGBT comic book character. Although blind, Destiny is a mutant precognitive able to accurately predict future events.
Venom is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual-life form receives enhanced powers and usually refers to itself as "Venom". The symbiote was originally introduced as a living alien costume in The Amazing Spider-Man #252, with a full first appearance as Venom in The Amazing Spider-Man #300.
Avalon: Web of Magic is a series of twelve young adult fantasy books written by American author Rachel Roberts between 2001 and 2010. The books tell of the adventures of a trio of modern girls who are turned into mages to save the legendary land of Avalon from those who want to use its magic for evil. There is a related graphic novel series, Avalon: The Warlock Diaries, and an animated series adaptation is currently in the works.
Korvus is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Korvus wields a weapon known as the Blade of the Phoenix and made his first appearance in The Uncanny X-Men #478 on September 6, 2006.

Moira Dingle is a fictional character from the British soap opera Emmerdale, played by Natalie J. Robb. The actress successfully auditioned for the role after a call came through her agent. Robb's character and her family were created and introduced to Emmerdale as part of an overhaul of the show by the series producer Gavin Blyth. The Barton family took over the running of Butler's Farm and they were described as being "sexy, modern and contemporary". Robb first appeared as Moira during the episode broadcast on 17 July 2009.

The Stormlight Archive is a series of epic fantasy novels written by American author Brandon Sanderson, planned to consist of ten novels. As of 2023, the series comprises four published novels and two novellas, set within his broader Cosmere universe. The first novel, The Way of Kings, was published on August 31, 2010. The second novel, Words of Radiance, was published in 2014 and debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller List, followed by Oathbringer in 2017 and Rhythm of War in 2020. A fifth novel, under the working title Knights of Wind and Truth, is expected to be released in November 2024, while writing for the latter half of the series will begin after Sanderson finishes writing the upcoming Era Three Mistborn trilogy and the two Elantris sequels.

Ultraman Nexus is the titular character of the 2004-2005 Ultra Series Ultraman Nexus. His true form is the legendary warrior Ultraman Noa, he chased his twisted doppelgänger Dark Zagi and managed to defeat the villain but the battle cost him his true form, causing him revert first into Ultraman The Next where he chased the Space Beast, Beast the One to Earth and bonded with an Air Force pilot named Shunichi Maki. Five years later in 2009, he evolved into Ultraman Nexus and bonded with several hosts, called Dunamists to fight against a wave of Space Beasts and the dark giants. When Dark Zagi rose to prominence once more, Nexus bonded with Kazuki Komon and regained his true form, Noa, defeated the evil warrior and finally killed him for good.
