Monaco International Film Festival

The Monaco International Film Festival is an annual international special interest film festival held in Monaco. It is a non-profit organization, formed in December 2003 and founded by Rosana Golden and Dean Bentley [1] The festival focuses on non-violent films, screening films and productions from around the world, and awards are given in many categories. Its distinguished guests have included Dalai Lama. The festival's awards are called the Angel Film Awards.

Angels of the Universe ) is a 2000 Icelandic film directed and produced by Friðrik Þór Friðriksson. The leading role is played by Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, who was nominated for the European Film Awards for best acting. The story is based on Einar Már Guðmundsson's 1995 novel of the same name, a semi-fictional story about Einar's brother Pálmi Örn Guðmundsson. Much of the book is true; for example, Pálmi was mentally ill and painted as a hobby.
