Monica Gallagher is an American writer and illustrator. She has worked for several comic publishers, such as Oni Press and DC Comics, among others. She is author of WEBTOON series Assassin Roommate and BOO! It's Sex (the last one drawn by Danielle Corsetto). [1] [2] [3]
Gallagher is also co-creator (alongside Alex Segura) of comiXology series The Black Ghost, written by her and Segura and drawn by George Kambadais. This series is about Lara Dominguez, a police reporter who is obsessed with getting an exclusive story on the mysterious vigilante Black Ghost. [1] [4] [5]

Erma is a fantasy-dark comedy slice of life webtoon created by Mexican artist Brandon J. Santiago. It follows the adventures and misadventures of the titular eight-year-old Erma Williams' experiences as a half-human, half-yōkai/half-ghost, tending to use her haunting abilities for everyday antics, whether for better or for worse, focusing on themes such as friendship and acceptance. Santiago initially published the webcomic on DeviantArt and Tumblr in May 2014, but has since released it on various services from January 2016, such as Tapas and WEBTOON. It is available in two languages, English and Spanish. In January 2020, Comics Beat reported that with 64.5 million views and 74.9 thousand subscribers, Erma was the most-viewed webcomic on the Tapas syndicate in 2019.

Sarah's Scribbles is a webcomic by Sarah Andersen started in 2011. Andersen initially published the webcomic on Tumblr, but has since released it on various services, such as Facebook, Instagram, Tapas and her own website. Sarah's Scribbles follows Andersen's experiences as a millennial and focuses on themes such as adulthood and maturity. The comic receives millions of views on the Tapas platform and has won multiple Goodreads Choice Awards and a Ringo Award. Andersen has published four print collections of the webcomic: Adulthood is a Myth; Big Mushy Happy Lump; Herding Cats; and Oddball.
Giant Days is a comedic comic book written by John Allison, with art by Max Sarin and Lissa Treiman. The series follows three young women – Esther de Groot, Susan Ptolemy and Daisy Wooton – who share a hall of residence at university. Originally created as a webcomic spin-off from his previous series Scary Go Round, and then self-published as a series of small press comics, Giant Days was subsequently picked up by Boom! Studios first as a six-issue miniseries and then as a monthly ongoing series. In 2016 Giant Days was nominated for two Eisner Awards and four Harvey Awards. In 2019, it won two Eisner awards, for Best Continuing Series and Best Humor Publication.

The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards, commonly shortened to the Ringo Awards, are prizes given for achievement in comic books. They are named in honor of artist Mike Wieringo and they were founded by the Reisterstown, Maryland-based Cards, Comics, & Collectibles shop alongside the Ringo Awards Committee in 2017, their ceremony meant to succeed the Harvey Awards which left the Baltimore Comic-Con as its venue in 2016.

It began publishing weekly on the platform Webtoon in March 2018. Lore Olympus is currently the most popular comic on Webtoon; as of August 2023, it has 1.3 billion views and 6.4 million subscribers. The comic has won a Harvey Award, two Eisner Awards, and received nominations for Ringo Awards. It was announced in 2019 that a television adaptation was under development.
Adventures of God is a comedy webtoon created and respectively written and illustrated by Italian Matteo "Teo" Ferrazzi and American Corey Jay. The comic explores the relationship between God and his sons Jesus and Lucy and the angel Gabe and demon Ebag after confirming the existence of the afterlife to humankind. It began publishing weekly on WEBTOON in November 2016. As of August 2019 it had 100 million views, and as of April 2021 WEBTOON reported that it had 1.4 million subscribers. The comic has been nominated for a Ringo Award in the Humor Comic category, ranking second behind I Hate Fairyland. Adventures of God is published in print by Rocketship Entertainment and was Kickstarted in October 2019.
SubZero is a fantasy romance webcomic created by artist Junepurrr. It follows the marriage between a princess and prince from rival clans arranged in order to end a war. It began publishing weekly on the Webtoon platform in 2018. According to data from Webtoon, it had received 73 million views by the end of 2019. The comic won a fan Ringo Award in 2020 for Favorite Hero.
My Giant Nerd Boyfriend is an autobiographical comic by Malaysian artist Fishball, following Fishball and her tall, nerdy boyfriend referred to as "Micky" by his friends and family and "Boyfriend" by fans. The couple announced their engagement in 2022. Since then, the title at the start of the chapters includes "*now fiancè".
Hooky is a fantasy adventure webcomic written and illustrated by Catalan author Míriam Bonastre Tur. Originally serialized as a webtoon on Naver Corporation's Webtoon app from 2015 to 2020, Hooky was eventually released in print by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2021.
