Monk 'n' More is an album by Simon Nabatov. It was recorded in May 1995 and June 2013 and was released by Leo Records.
The album contains ten tracks. [1] Five are solo piano pieces composed by Thelonious Monk and recorded at Loft, in Cologne, in May 1995. [1] The other five are Nabatov compositions that he performed on piano and electronics in concert at Loft in June 2013. [1] This use of electronics came from a collaboration in April 2013 between Nabatov and composer Hans Koch. [2]
Monk 'n' More was released by Leo Records in October 2016. [3] The Cadence reviewer described it as "A fine set of outings that stands up well on repeated listens." [1]

Simon Nabatov is a Russian-American jazz pianist.
Nils Wogram is a jazz trombonist, composer and bandleader. He began classical study at the age of fifteen. He was a member in the National German Youth Big Band, participated in classical competitions and formed his own bands at the age of 16. In 1992 he received a scholarship for the New School of New York City and stayed until 1994. During this time he released his debut album "New York Conversations" (1994) with his own Nils Wogram Quintett. Since then he has released more than 20 albums as a bandleader. In 1999 he graduated from Cologne University. In 2010 he started his own record label nwog-records. Nils Wogram's bands play exclusively his own music, and other ensembles commission pieces by him. He currently lives in Zürich and teaches at the conservatory in Lucerne in Switzerland.

Misterioso is a 1958 live album by American jazz ensemble the Thelonious Monk Quartet. By the time of its recording, pianist and bandleader Thelonious Monk had overcome an extended period of career difficulties and achieved stardom with his residency at New York's Five Spot Café, beginning in 1957. He returned there the following year for a second stint with his quartet, featuring drummer Roy Haynes, bassist Ahmed Abdul-Malik, and tenor saxophonist Johnny Griffin. Along with Thelonious in Action (1958), Misterioso captures portions of the ensemble's August 7 show at the venue.
