Monowar Hussain is an Indian politician. In 2011 he was elected as MLA of Goalpara East Vidhan Sabha Constituency in Assam Legislative Assembly. [1] [2] [3] He was an All India United Democratic Front politician. He joined Indian National Congress in 2016. [4]

Goalpara East is one of the 126 assembly constituencies of Assam Legislative Assembly in the north east state of Assam, India. Goalpara East is also part of Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency
