The Monthly Sathee is an Urdu children's monthly magazine based in Pakistan. It is a Magazine or Digest of Pakistan in continuous publication since its foundation in 1977. [1] Its current group editor is Abdurrahim Muttaqui. [2]

Adamjee Literary Award, also known as Adamjee Prize, is a literary award bestowed by the government of Pakistan. It is presented by the president. The award seeks to recognize those people who have made "meritorious contribution" to the literature of Pakistan. It was first introduced by Pakistan Writers' Guild in 1959. Muhammad Shahidullah served as the permanent chairman of the award.

Umera Ahmed is one of the most widely-read and popular Urdu fiction novelists and screenplay writers of this era.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Diya W.F.C.</span> Pakistani football club

Diya Women Football Club, also referred to as Diya W.F.C., Diya WFC, Diya FC, Diya, Diya Women FC, or DWFC, is a Pakistani women's association football and futsal club based in Karachi. Diya means lamp in Urdu. It is the country's oldest women's football club, established in 2002. Diya W.F.C. has no affiliation to any men's club.

The Nigar Award for Best Actor, also known as Nigar Public Film Award for Best Actor is an award constituted for the cinema of Pakistan to recognise contribution of a lead actor in Lollywood. Established in 1958 by Ilyas Rashidi, it is presented annually by Nigar magazine as part of its annual ceremony of Nigar Awards. The award ceremony takes place independently and is not associated with any government or for-profit entities such as production house or television channel.
