More Than Conquerors were an alternative rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Formed in 2009, Kris Platt united with Danny Ball on guitar, Danny Morton on bass, and Jamie Neish on drums to form the band "More Than Conquerors". Signing to Northern Irish independent record label Smalltown America (And So I Watch You From Afar, LaFaro, Jetplane Landing) in early 2010, the band released their debut EP More Than Conquerors. Gaining recognition within the BBC Introducing platform and on BBC Radio Ulster’s "Across The Line" radio show lead to a main-stage appearance at Northern Irish festival Glasgowbury in the summer of 2011. More Than Conquerors' latest EP Boots & Bones was released by Smalltown America Records on 7 November 2011. [2]

Oppenheimer were an indie pop band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The band was made up of musicians Shaun Robinson and Rocky O'Reilly. Robinson and O'Reilly were previously members of the now disbanded Belfast group, Torgas Valley Reds. They met in 2003, in Belfast. O'Reilly had been mixing sound and recording Torgas Valley Reds, whom Robinson drummed for. Inspired by their mutual love for Moog synthesizers, vocoders, and airhorns, O'Reilly and Robinson formed Oppenheimer in late 2004, using O'Reilly's spare room to record 3 songs, which they sent to their favourite labels.

Duke Special is a songwriter and performer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. A piano-based songwriter with a romantic style and a warm, distinctly accented voice, he was previously known for his distinctive long dreadlocks, eyeliner and outfits he describes as "hobo chic". Nowadays, he performs mostly out of makeup and desires to be more like his true self. His live performances have a theatrical style inspired by Vaudeville and music hall, and often incorporate 78s played on an old-fashioned gramophone, or sound effects from a transistor radio. He is most often accompanied by percussionist "Temperance Society" Chip Bailey, who plays cheese graters and egg whisks, a Stumpf fiddle and a Shruti box, as well as the more typical drums and cymbals. Other musicians who perform with Wilson from time to time include Paul Pilot (guitar), Réa Curran, Ben Castle, Ben Hales, Gareth Williams, "Professor" Ger Eaton (keyboards), Dan Donnelly and Serge Archibald III.

Good Vibrations was a Belfast record label and store. Founded by Terri Hooley in the early 1970s, Good Vibrations started out in a small derelict building on Great Victoria Street, Belfast. Good Vibrations began life as a record shop, opening its doors in late 1976. Business took off and it was soon a popular record shop in Belfast city centre.

The Jepettos are an alternative folk band from Belfast and Derry, Northern Ireland. Highlights in the band's career have included supporting rapper Tinie Tempah and sharing the bill with Foo Fighters and The Black Keys at Tennent's Vital in 2012.
The COVID-19 pandemic reached Northern Ireland in February 2020. The Department of Health reports 3,377 deaths overall among people who had recently tested positive. The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency reports 4,503 where the death certificate mentioned COVID as one possible cause. Northern Ireland has the lowest COVID death rate per population in the United Kingdom. The vast majority of deaths have been among those over the age of 60 and almost half were in care homes.
John Callum Stewart, known professionally as JC Stewart or Callum Stewart, is a Northern Irish singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known for co-writing Lewis Capaldi’s hit "Hollywood", which featured on Capaldi’s best-selling debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent and for his parody of the Friends theme tune which went viral after being noticed by Jennifer Aniston in 2020. Stewart has self-described his own music genre as ‘professional sad boy’.
