The Morgan State Bears men's basketball team represents Morgan State University, located in Baltimore, Maryland, in Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Bears are currently coached by Kevin Broadus and play their home games at the Talmadge L. Hill Field House (4,250). They were the 1974 NCAA Division II national champions.

History

The program hosted the first interracial American basketball game played south of the Mason–Dixon line on February 12, 1952, a 6563 loss to Loyola College in Maryland. [2]

The Missouri State Bears basketball team is the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. The Bears compete in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears, led by 12th-year head coach Todd Bozeman, played their home games at the Talmadge L. Hill Field House in Baltimore, Maryland as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. They finished the season 13–19, 7–9 in MEAC play to finish in a three-way tie for seventh place. As the No. 7 seed in the MEAC tournament, they defeated South Carolina State and Bethune–Cookman before losing to North Carolina Central in the semifinals.

The 2018–19 Morgan State Bears men's basketball team represented Morgan State University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They played their home games at Talmadge L. Hill Field House in Baltimore, Maryland, and were led by 13th-year head coach Todd Bozeman. The Bears finished the season 9–21, 4–12 in MEAC play to finish in tenth place. As the No. 10 seed in the MEAC tournament, they lost in the first round to Coppin State.

The 2020–21 Morgan State Bears men's basketball team represented Morgan State University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by second-year head coach Kevin Broadus, played their home games at Talmadge L. Hill Field House in Baltimore, Maryland as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. With the creation of divisions to cut down on travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they played in the Northern Division.

The 1994 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament took place March 8–11, 1994, at the Talmadge L. Hill Field House in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the first time in twenty years that Baltimore had hosted the MEAC men's tournament. North Carolina A&T defeated South Carolina State, 87–70 in the championship game, to win its 14th MEAC Tournament title.

The 2021–22 Morgan State Bears men's basketball team represented Morgan State University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bears, led by third-year head coach Kevin Broadus, played their home games at Talmadge L. Hill Field House in Baltimore, Maryland as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
