Morning Show Mysteries is a series which airs on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. Hallmark announced its first mystery series starring people of color on July 31, 2017. [1] The episodes are based on the Billy Blessing novels by Al Roker. [2] They star Holly Robinson Peete, Rick Fox and Colin Lawrence. The first aired in 2018.

Series overview

The theme for the Morning Show Mysteries series centers around a Seattle-based, TV chef Billie Blessings (Robinson Peete) as she becomes involved in various murder criminal investigations, and her relationship with police detective Ian Jackson (Fox) who is in charge of the homicide unit. [3]

As of 2021, Rick Fox left the series and was replaced by Colin Lawrence playing the new head of homicide, Detective Sergeant Tyrell Price. [4] [5]

Murder, She Baked is an American/Canadian television film series based on the cozy mystery novels written by Joanne Fluke. The television films are centered around small-town baker Hannah Swensen, portrayed by Alison Sweeney, and Detective Mike Kingston, played by Cameron Mathison. Five films for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel were created based on Fluke's book series, with the fifth movie airing on March 26, 2017. The films took a four-year hiatus before returning as the Hannah Swensen Mysteries. The films are set in the fictional town of Eden Lake in Minnesota, reverting to Lake Eden like in the novels in the sixth film.

Garage Sale Mystery is an American/Canadian mystery film series starring Lori Loughlin as Jennifer Shannon. It is based on the Garage Sale Mystery book series written by Suzi Weinert. The Hallmark series aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in the US, Bravo in Canada and Channel 5 in the UK occasionally as part of the weekday films. Fifteen films aired from the 2013 pilot film, until the series was cancelled in 2019 after Loughlin was fired from Hallmark.

The series is Hallmark Channel's first entry into unscripted reality television. The Peete family had previously starred in For Peete's Sake for two seasons (2016–2017) on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Hailey Dean Mysteries is an American/Canadian mystery film series that stars Kellie Martin as the titular character, Hailey Dean, a prosecutor working with the District Attorney's office who later quits her job to become a marriage counselor and therapist and is based on characters from Nancy Grace’s best-selling series of “Hailey Dean Mystery” novels. The series is set in Atlanta and airs on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel in the US. Kellie Martin is not the first actress to portray Hailey Dean. Jennie Garth took on the role in a 2012 Lifetime movie based on Nancy Grace's first book in the series, "The 11th Victim". This movie was also produced by Nancy Grace.

Fixer Upper Mysteries is a series that airs on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.
