Morning Songs by Jim Stärk was an EP which went to no.1 in the Norwegian music charts in 2004. [1] It was the biggest-selling EP in Norwegian chart history. [2] [3] It was in the charts for thirty-four weeks. [4]

Jim Stärk is a Norwegian band whose records have met with some success in its native land as well as abroad, especially the EP Morning Songs, which topped the Norwegian charts. The band name is derived from James Dean's character in the film Rebel Without a Cause.

John Townes Van Zandt, better known as Townes Van Zandt, was an American singer-songwriter. He wrote numerous songs, such as "Pancho and Lefty", "For the Sake of the Song", "Tecumseh Valley", "Rex's Blues", and "To Live is to Fly", that are widely considered masterpieces of American folk music. Marit Larsen Norwegian singer-songwriter

Marit Elisabeth Larsen is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. She began playing violin at age of 5 and played it until the age of 8. She gained international fame during her teenage years as a member of the pop duo M2M with childhood friend Marion Raven. She then pursued her own music career, releasing her debut solo album Under the Surface in 2006. Her second album, The Chase, was released in Norway in October 2008. Her third album, titled Spark was released in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland on 18 November 2011, and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 16 December 2011. Her fourth studio album When the Morning Comes was released on 20 October 2014. Larsen toured in its support within Norway with her own concerts, played songs from the album in Germany and Switzerland at public festivals and was the opening act at two of Johannes Oerding's concerts in November 2015.

The American rock band Paramore has released five studio albums, three extended plays, two live albums, eighteen singles, one video album, and nineteen music videos. The band was formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004 by lead vocalist Hayley Williams with guitarists Josh Farro and Taylor York, bassist Jeremy Davis, and drummer Zac Farro. In 2005, Paramore signed with the New York City-based Fueled by Ramen and released their debut album entitled All We Know Is Falling. Three singles were released from the album, but none of them charted. The album did not chart in the Billboard 200 either, although it peaked at number thirty in the Billboard Top Heatseekers. The song is written by Anders Hansson and is released by Roxy Recordings. Just like "Release Me" a French version of the song was recorded for the francophone market called "On se Donne". "On and On" was released in the UK in May, 2010. The song was re-released in the Netherlands on May 24, 2010 as the UK edit.

Cash Cash is an American electronic music group from Roseland, New Jersey. The group currently consists of three DJs: brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, and Samuel Frisch. They produce, record, mix and master all their music together as a trio. They are currently signed to Big Beat Records and Atlantic Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group worldwide. The group's highest-charting song to date is "Take Me Home", which features vocals by Bebe Rexha. The Beat Goes On is the third full-length album by electronic music group Cash Cash. The full-length version was only licensed in Japan and the EP version was self-released worldwide on Cash Cash Music. Both formats contained the two songs "Michael Jackson " and "I Like It Loud," which were also soon after released as singles by Dutch independent dance label Spinnin' Records. Nico & Vinz Norwegian singing/songwriting duo

Nico & Vinz are a Norwegian duo consisting of Kahouly Nicolay "Nico" Sereba from Holmlia, Oslo and Vincent "Vinz" Dery from Lambertseter, Oslo. They formed in 2010 as Envy but changed their name to Nico & Vinz by the end of 2012. They are best known for their single "Am I Wrong", which peaked at number 2 in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.

Wake Me Up (Avicii song) 2013 single

"Wake Me Up" is a song by Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii, released as the lead single from his debut studio album True, released on CD and cassette by PRMD Music and Universal Music Group’s Island Records on 17 June 2013. "Wake Me Up" was written by Avicii, Mike Einziger, and Aloe Blacc. American soul singer Aloe Blacc provides vocals for the track and Mike Einziger of Incubus provides acoustic guitar. Avicii introduced "Wake Me Up!" for the first time live on stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The experimental rendering reportedly confused and angered a section of the electronic dance festival community. Subsequently, Avicii achieved critical and commercial success with the release of the single worldwide.

Majid Jordan is a Canadian R&B duo, consisting of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman from Toronto, Ontario. They formed in 2011 and signed to OVO Sound, the record label co-founded by rapper Drake, producer Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib, releasing their debut EP, A Place Like This, in 2014.

Nathan John Feuerstein, known professionally as NF, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He has released three studio albums: Mansion in 2015, Therapy Session in 2016 and Perception in 2017, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Perception's third single, "Let You Down", brought him worldwide fame; it charted internationally and was certified triple platinum in the United States.

Phoebe Ryan American singer and songwriter

Phoebe Holiday Ryan is an American singer and songwriter. In 2015, she released a mashup of R. Kelly's "Ignition" and Miguel's "Do You", followed by her first single "Mine" from her debut EP of the same name. She signed with Columbia Records in 2015.
