Morten Frisch is a Danish epidemiologist who works as a consultant and senior investigator at the Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen. [1]
Frisch received his M.D. in 1989, his Ph.D. in 1995, and his D.Sc. in 2002, all from the University of Copenhagen. [1] In 2008, he was appointed an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen. In 2012, he was appointed an adjunct professor of sexual health epidemiology at Aalborg University. [1]
Frisch's research focuses on the epidemiology of sexual health, cancers and autoimmune diseases. [1] Morten Frisch has found that circumcision does not seem to provide meaningful STI protection in dutch males, he states that he shares the Danish Medical Association's view that medically-unnecessary genital cutting on underage people goes against medical ethics. [2] Other research papers he has written or contributed to focus on topics of sexual dysfunction, mental health, and transgender healthcare.
