The Motorsport Club of Ottawa (MCO) was created in 1949 as the Ottawa Light Car Club. It is governed by the Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario Region (CASC-OR). Club members participate in all levels of motorsports, including autocross, Solo Sprints, road and oval racing, TSD and performance rallies, karting, officiating and marshalling. Members have competed at the local, regional, national, and international level.

It is a form of motorsports that emphasizes safe competition and active participation. Autocross differs from road racing and oval racing in that generally there is only one car on the track, driving against the clock rather than other cars. As an entry-level motorsport it provides a stepping stone for drivers looking to move into other more competitive and possibly expensive forms of racing.
The Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) is the governing body for the majority of junior and senior level ice hockey teams in the Province of Ontario. The OHA is sanctioned by the Ontario Hockey Federation along with the Northern Ontario Hockey Association. Other Ontario sanctioning bodies along with the OHF include the Hockey Eastern Ontario and Hockey Northwestern Ontario. The Ottawa Senators were an ice hockey team based in Ottawa, which existed from 1883 to 1954. The club was the first hockey club in Ontario, a founding member of the National Hockey League (NHL) and played in the NHL from 1917 until 1934. The club, which was officially the Ottawa Hockey Club, was known by several nicknames, including the Generals in the 1890s, the Silver Seven from 1903 to 1907 and the Senators dating from 1908.
Altamont Raceway Park was a motorsports race track in the western United States, located northern California, west of Tracy. It opened on July 22, 1966, and operated under the names Altamont Speedway, Altamont Raceway, Altamont Motorsports Park, Altamont Raceway Park and Arena, and Bernal Memorial Raceway. After 42 years of operation, the speedway closed in October 2008; the site is just south of the junction of Interstates 205 and 580.

The 2019 Blancpain GT Sports Club was the fifth season of the SRO Motorsports Group's Blancpain GT Sports Club, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars. The Blancpain GT Sports Club is a championship for Bronze level drivers only, with two additional sub-classes based on age, Titanium and Iron, in order to separate the potential of using higher-level drivers who are often in amateur classes based on their age. The Titanium categorisation for drivers between the age of 50 and 59. The Iron categorisation for drivers over the age of 60. The races were contested with GT3-spec, GTE-spec, GT2-spec and Trophy cars. The season began on 13 April at Monza and ended on 29 September at Barcelona-Catalunya.
Ottawa South United is a Canadian semi-professional soccer team based in Manotick, Ontario, just outside of Ottawa that plays in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec. The club previously competed in League1 Ontario. In 2020, the club formed a partnership with Canadian Premier League club Atlético Ottawa and as part of the partnership, their PLSQ teams will be known as OSU Atlético. The team is part of the larger Ottawa South United youth soccer club organization.
