Lieutenant General Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry HI(M) is a retired three-star general of the Pakistan Army who served as the Corps Commander of V Corps in Karachi from March 2012 to November 2013. [1] [2]
Chaudhry was commissioned into the Pakistan Army and joined the Artillery Corps. He rose through the ranks to become a lieutenant general and was appointed as the Corps Commander of V Corps in Karachi in March 2012,succeeding Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam. He served in this position until November 2013,when he was succeeded by Lieutenant General Sajjad Ghani. [3]
He retired as a Lieutenant General from the Pakistan Army in 2015. [4]
