Robert Hedges [1] (born December 10, 1976), [2] [3] better known by his stage name Muja Messiah, is an American rapper from Minneapolis, Minnesota. [4] He has been a member of the groups Raw Villa [2] and Villa Rosa. [5] [6] Vibe named him in "51 Best MySpace Rappers" and URB named him in "Next 1000." City Pages also named him the best Minneapolis hip hop artist of 2009. [7]

Career

In 2008, Muja Messiah released a mixtape, Mpls Massacre Vol. 1, and then released his debut album Thee Adventures of a B-Boy D-Boy the same year. [8]

Two years later in 2010, he released the album M-16's. [9]

In 2014, he released God Kissed It the Devil Missed It. It was listed as one of the best Minnesota rap album of 2014 by City Pages . [10]

The next year in 2015, he released the album Angel Blood Soup [11] and the collaborative album 9th House with I Self Devine. [12]

On December 7, 2020, legendary emcee, rapper and actor Ice-T retweeted the Muja Messiah song "Covid" produced by Orikal Uno to his 1.9 million followers on Twitter [13]

He has won two regional DJ championships for the Midwest region.

This is the third in the Mixtape Messiah It was released as a free download on Chamillionaire's website on July 18, 2007 at 11pm EDT to promote his album Ultimate Victory, then scheduled for release three months later. The free The Mixtape Messiah DVD, a compilation of interviews, show performances, backstage tour footage, and in-studio footage, was released at the same time.

"Go Hard" is the second single from DJ Khaled's third studio album, We Global. The hip-hop track features American rappers Kanye West and T-Pain and their trademark auto-tune effect. The song is produced by The Runners and it samples Madonna's 1985 song "Angel". It first charted on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip Hop chart on December 4, 2008, debuting at number 25, where it peaked at number 15, and charted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs debuting at number 85 and then rising to number 53. Carlos Coleman, better known by his stage name King Los or simply Los, is an American rapper and songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his affiliation with American rapper Puff Daddy, having frequently served as his ghostwriter and been signed to his label, Bad Boy Records from 2005 until 2008. Coleman re-signed to the label in February 2012, although he departed once more in March 2014. Micranots is an American hip hop duo, consisting of I Self Devine and DJ Kool Akiem from Atlanta, Georgia, but currently reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2013, the group was described by City Pages as "the pioneering rap group that left an immense footprint on the local hip-hop scene".

Armand Hammer is an American hip hop superduo from New York City that was formed around 2013. The duo consists of Billy Woods and Elucid.

Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, known professionally as Tory Lanez, is a Canadian rapper, singer and convicted felon. First discovered by Sean Kingston, he received initial recognition for his mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013. In 2015, Lanez signed with record producer Benny Blanco's Mad Love Records, an imprint of Interscope Records.

Soundset Music Festival was a hip-hop music festival held yearly in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area over Memorial Day weekend. Since Soundset began in the Metrodome parking lot in 2008, attendance has grown from 12,000 to over 30,000 consistently since 2014. Over 280,000 fans have traveled from fifty U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand to experience Soundset in Minnesota.

Antonio Lorenzo Rosario, better known as Orikal Uno, is an American rapper and mix DJ / host of "The Check In w/ Orikal Uno" radio show on 98.9 FM KRSM (Minneapolis) "featuring nothing but the best in Twin Cities Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B and Soul music" from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Orikal Uno is also known as a visual artist; painting and shipping custom canvases and skateboards for people via multiple platforms on the internet. He is also a notable music producer and audio engineer.
