Multi Group Stone CJSC was established by "Multi Group Concern" in 2002 in Abovyan city, Armenia. The company is involved in minerals mining and processing, i.e. the mining of blocks of natural stone, travertine, at the own quarry (Ararat city) and the whole cycle of manufacture and final processing of tiles at the factory (Abovyan city).

Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, especially hot springs. Travertine often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and even rusty varieties. It is formed by a process of rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, often at the mouth of a hot spring or in a limestone cave. In the latter, it can form stalactites, stalagmites, and other speleothems. It is frequently used in Italy and elsewhere as a building material.

The plant occupies a territory of about 25,000 m2 (270,000 sq.ft.). The industrial building is about 4,100 m2 (44,000 sq.ft.).

The main types of travertine products are "Ararat Classico" and "Ararat Noce". Since 2004 the company exports its products to several western countries including United States, Canada, Germany and Russia. [1] Products are including polished, honed, brushed and tumbled stones.

"Multi Group Concern" is owned by the Armenian businessman and member of the National Assembly Gagik Tsarukyan.

Gagik Tsarukyan is an Armenian businessman, former athlete, and politician. He is seen as the most influential of Armenia's government-connected oligarchs, and a key business partner of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan. owning over a dozen big businesses and living in a large mansion on a hilltop in the village of Arinj, overlooking the northern outskirts of Yerevan.

Hrazdan Stadium is a multi-use, all-seater stadium in Yerevan, Armenia, opened in 1970. Being the largest sports venue in Armenia, Hrazdan is mostly used for football matches. It is the home stadium of the Armenian national team. The stadium is able to host 54,208 spectators after the most recent reconstruction in 2008, which converted the stadium into an all-seater one. Before the reconstruction, Hrazdan was able to hold up to 70,000 spectators. It was among the top four stadiums of the Soviet Union by its capacity. The stadium hosted the Armenian Cup finals during many occasions as well as the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games in 2003. Khachatur Abovian (or Abovyan; Armenian: Խաչատուր Աբովյան; October 15, 1809 is an Armenian writer and national public figure of the early 19th century who mysteriously vanished in 1848 and was eventually presumed dead. He is an educator, poet and an advocate of modernization. Reputed as the father of modern Armenian literature, he is best remembered for his novel Wounds of Armenia. Argishtikhinili was a town in the ancient kingdom of Urartu, established during the expansion of the Urartians in the Transcaucasus under their king Argishti I, and named in his honour. It lasted between the 8th and 6th centuries BC. The ruins of the Argishtikhinili fortifications are 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of the present-day town of Armavir, Armenia, between the villages of Nor-Armavir and Armavir in the Armenian marz of Armavir. The town was founded on the left bank of the middle reaches of the Aras River. Over the centuries, the river channel has shifted to several kilometres south of the town.
