The Museum of Local History is located at 6866 Caroline St, Milton, Florida, and is operated by the Santa Rosa Historical Society. The museum exhibits depict the history of industry and fashion in Santa Rosa County. [3] It is part of the Milton Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Unfortunately the museum is rarely open as the Historical Society primarily uses the attached theatre for private weddings.

Established in 1992, the park celebrates the life and history of the Keweenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. As of 2009, it is a partly privatized park made up of two primary units, the Calumet Unit and the Quincy Unit, and 21 cooperating "Heritage Sites" located on federal, state, and privately owned land in and around the Keweenaw Peninsula. The National Park Service owns approximately 1,700 acres (690 ha) in the Calumet and Quincy Units. Units are located in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties.

John Milton was a Revolutionary War officer from a family of settlers in North Carolina who became a Colonial-era political figure that played a prominent role in the establishment and growth of the state of Georgia. Milton was the Secretary of State of Georgia from 1777 to 1799. Milton is the grandfather of Florida governor John Milton and was the recipient of the votes of two Georgia electors in the first presidential election. Milton was one of Georgia's five Presidential electors in 1789. John Milton was a signer to Georgia's ratification of the U.S. Constitution.

The Pensacola metropolitan area is the metropolitan area centered on Pensacola, Florida. It is also known as the Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan statistical area (MSA) used for statistical purposes by the United States Census Bureau and other agencies. The Pensacola Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area was first defined after the 1960 United States Census, with Pensacola as the principal city, and included Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Ferry Pass and Brent, which are unincorporated census-designated places in Escambia County, were added as principal cities after the 2000 Census. The population of the MSA in the 2010 census was 448,991. The estimated population of the MSA was 487,784 in 2017.

The Sanford Grammar School, also known as the Sanford High School and as the Margaret K. Reynolds Building, is an historic school building located at 301 West 7th Street in Sanford, Florida Built in 1902, it was designed by Wilbur B. Talley in the Romanesque Revival style of architecture. Sanford architect Elton James Moughton designed the wings which were added in 1916. On November 23, 1984, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

It is noted for its historic Carpenter Gothic-style church and its adjacent rectory, also known as the McDougall House, located at 300 Oak Street. On May 6, 1982, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as "St. Mary's Episcopal Church and Rectory."

It was built in 1909 on the site of the former Pensacola and Atlantic Depot built in 1882 which burned down in 1907. In 1973, the station was closed, but partially restored with a 1976 Bicentennial grant.
