Mushtaq Guroo' is a Kashmiri politician and business tycoon. He is a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 2024, representing Chanapora Assembly constituency as a member of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference party. He won this seat by defeating Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party Supremo Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari with the margin of 6000, thus earned the title of ‘Giant Slayer’ in the election. In addition to his legislative role, he serves as the Political Advisor to the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah since 2018. He is also very close to JKNC Party Leadership and is Omar’s close confidant. He is the owner of Shuhul Group of Companies.He is also known as the King of automotive sector in J&K as he is authorised dealer of Car brands like Mahindra, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, Kia & Yamaha. ^{[1] [2]}
