My Siblings and I is a 2018 Nigerian comedy series, produced by Funke Akindele and co-directed by JJC Skillz and Olasunkanmi Adebayo, the Series is based on the life of the Aberuagba family depicted as an extended family made up of the parents, Solomon who is a retired army brigadier general and his wife Rosemary who is a teacher in the series. It is now in its 4th season from the first season which was premiered on the 6th of August 2018 and still ongoing. [1]

Premise

The series shows the ridiculous, absurd and funny behaviours displayed by each member of the family including the friends of the family members and the domestic workers, not excluding the heated arguments and periodic misunderstanding which goes on in the Aberuagba family, but no matter the crisis in the Aberuagba family, they always stand by each other in genuine love. This was the second film in the Omo Ghetto franchise and it was also the sequel to the 2010 trilogy film Omo Ghetto. The film had its theatrical release coinciding with Christmas on 25 December 2020 and was opened to extremely positive reviews from critics. The film became a box office success and surpassed Fate of Alakada as the highest grossing Nigerian film for the year 2020. The film had its theatrical release on 16 December 2022 and opened to extremely positive reviews from critics. The film became a huge box office success.

Far From Home is a drama television series and the first Nigerian series on Netflix. The series, written by Dami Elebe and produced by Inkblot productions premiered on Netflix on December 16, 2022. Tobi Makinde is Nigerian actor and filmmaker. He became popular with his role as 'Timini' in the Nigerian TV series Jenifa's Diary. He co-directed one of the highest Nollywood grossing movie Battle on Buka Street, alongside Funke Akindele. In 2024, he received critical and audience acclaim for his portrayal of 'Shina Judah', a hoodlum in the blockbluster A Tribe Called Judah.
