My Stupid Boss 2 is an Indonesian film directed by Upi Avianto. The film is a sequel to My Stupid Boss . Reza Rahadian and Bunga Citra Lestari reprise their roles from the previous film; principal photography began on 6 August 2018. [1] Three provinces in Vietnam were chosen as filming locations. [2] The film was released on 28 March 2019. [3]
Due to a shortage of factory employees, Bossman (Hendrik Suryaman, played by Reza Rahadian) decides to recruit new workers in Vietnam. Bossman, Diana (Bunga Citra Lestari), Mr. Kho (Chew Kin Wah), and Adrian (Iedil Putra) travel to Vietnam. Instead of finding employees, they encounter a series of problems caused by Bossman's actions: Bossman violates a wage agreement, provoking prospective Vietnamese workers to riot, and he is detained at a police station.
Meanwhile in Kuala Lumpur, Norahsikin (Atikah Suhaime) and Azahari (Iskandar Zulkarnaen) face trouble of their own when they are taken hostage by gangsters demanding payment of Bossman's debt. Bossman's behavior finally angers Diana and her friends, who begin to consider taking action.
