Myer's College is a university-preparatory school located at Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. The college is affiliated with Cambridge International Examinations(PK 035:Myer's College) and offers Cambridge O-Level and A-level qualifications. The O-level subjects on offer as of 2018, are English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Urdu (First Language) and Computer Science.

Myer's College is patterned after English public schools and owns over 100 acres (0.40 km2) of land at Balkassar-Motorway Interchange near Chakwal. Classes are held at Kot Sarfraz Khan campus close to Central Chakwal city.

History

Myer's College was established on April 19, 1999, when classes were started in the colonial style historic bungalow built by the late Raja Muhammed Sarfraz Khan, a philanthropist and politician. It was founded by his grandson, Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, and was named after a Rajput prince, Raja Mair, the first settler in this area and ancestor of the Mair-Minhas tribe, an offshoot of the Jamwal Dogra Rajputs.

The opening ceremony of the college was held on 18 November 2000 and the Amir of Bahawalpur, His Royal Highness Nawab Salahudin Abbasi was the chief guest.

Myer's College is divided into five schools:

Each school's students are divided among houses. The houses promote inter-house competitions and mentorship opportunities. The five houses are:

The Senior school offers School Certificate/O-level in affiliation with Cambridge International Examinations and the college offers Higher School Certificate/A-level (for grades 12–13). Myer's College is affiliated with the Aga Khan Examination board and its college section offers Intermediate Level pre-medical classes.

Pakhrals also known as Minhas and Jamwal in different regions were founders of the city and the state of Jammu and its governors from ancient times. Jairo Ratial (جیرورتیال) is a village situated on the outskirts of Gujar Khan of Rawalpindi District, Punjab. Jairo Ratial is the chief village of the Union Council Jairo Ratial which is an administrative subdivision of the Tehsil. It is also within the Pothwari cultural region. It is one of the largest villages under Gujar Khan Tehsil and is also one of the important union councils of Gujar Khan. It is approximately 62 km southeast to the capital territory of Pakistan, Islamabad, and 215 km to the north west of Lahore, capital of Punjab. On the northern side, Jairo Ratial is bounded by Dudian, Gulyana, and Gujar Khan city. On the Western side, Cheena, Sasral, Daultala, Chakwal are situated. On the Eastern side, Mayhall, Missa Kaswal, Mirpur Azad Kashmir are present and lastly, on the Western side, Daryala Khaki, Khengar Mamdal, Muhri Rajgan, and Domeli are situated. The town has a population of about 15,000. Jairo Ratial lies at the bank of a small river (Kass). This river makes the northern lands of the village arable and fertile.

Previously, he was Provincial Minister for Higher Education from 27 August 2018 to 27 March 2022. He has also been provincial minister of Punjab for tourism from 27 August 2018 to 19 July 2019. He also held the portfolio of Information Technology from 22 July 2019 to 27 March 2022. He had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 till January 2023.
