N. M. Uqaili (full name:Nabi Mohammad Uqaili) was the Finance Minister of Pakistan and a Chairman of the Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation (PICIC). [1] [2]
He headed the privatisation commission during Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq's government to study the condition of the state enterprises and served as the Governor of State Bank of Pakistan. [3] He was known as a successful businessman. [4] His granddaughter is Pakistani politician Sharmila Farooqi. [5]

Tariq Bajwa is a retired Pakistani civil servant who served in BPS-22 grade as the Finance Secretary and Economic Affairs Secretary of Pakistan. Bajwa also served as the 19th Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan and the 20th Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue. He is the only Pakistani who won the Littauer fellowship at Harvard University. He also received a master's degree in Public Administration from the same institution. The 100th day of his prime ministership was 25 November 2018.
