NAPT (pronounced N-A-P-T) are an English electronic dance music production and DJ duo.

Career

Initially consisting of Ashley Pope and Tomek Naden, in 2010, the duo collaborated with English grime rapper Bashy to release "Make My Day" with Louise Marshall providing the vocals on the chorus.

NAPT were signed to A-Trak's Fool's Gold Records, Chris Lake's Rising Music and Sony International. NAPT's releases are supported by international DJ stars including GTA, Laidback Luke, Skrillex, Tiesto, DJ Zinc, Treasure Fingers, Smutlee, Michael Woods, The Aston Shuffle, Nick Thayer, B.Traits, Don Diablo and played across specialist radio shows including Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. NAPT released The Dockers EP and the Come Like This EP via Skrillex's Owsla sub-label Nest. [2] [3]

Diplo American DJ, record producer and songwriter

Thomas Wesley Pentz, known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ, songwriter and record producer based in Los Angeles. He is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, a member of the supergroup LSD with Sia and Labrinth, a member of electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson. Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London in the early 2000s. The style emerged as an offshoot of UK garage, drawing on a lineage of related styles such as 2-step and dub reggae, as well as jungle, broken beat, and grime. In the United Kingdom, the origins of the genre can be traced back to the growth of the Jamaican sound system party scene in the early 1980s.

Nero (band) British electronic trio

Sonny John Moore, known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ and music producer. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, he joined the post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and the Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press' annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.

AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of singer-songwriter Aluna Francis and producer George Reid.

KOAN Sound is an English electronic music production duo from Bristol, England. The duo consists of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. The name is taken from the word kōan. A track from the Max Out EP is titled "One Hand Clap" – a reference to a well-known kōan with the implied answer of silence. They initially gained recognition as dubstep producers, with earlier popular tracks including "Akira". Some of their many types of music includes glitch hop, neurohop, and Drum & Bass. The duo have since released music on various labels including Inspected Records and Owsla, and have worked with a number of other artists, including producer Asa and singer Ed Sheeran.

<i>Leaving</i> (EP) 2013 EP by Skrillex

Leaving is the sixth extended play (EP) by American electronic dance music producer Skrillex. It was released on February 5, 2013 exclusively to members of The Nest. The three tracks were also uploaded to Moore's official YouTube channel the following day. The song "Scary Bolly Dub" had previously been played live and circulated through the Internet for approximately a year before being officially released. A mixed version also features on Caspa Presents Dubstep Sessions 2012. The song samples the 2010 tracks "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and "Fucking Die 1". In a personal message to members of The Nest, Moore said that he uses the track "more as a DJ tool, but I wanted you guys to have it". The title track was created in Moore's hotel room in Mexico. "The Reason" was finished an hour before release in Moore's hotel room in Miami. "The Reason" has received significant attention and airplay in Australia, mostly on youth radio station Triple J.

Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American DJ, record producer, instrumentalist and remixer from Santa Barbara, California. Active musically since 2010, his music combines styles as diverse as trance, melodic dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop, and electro house. Jack Ü was an American DJ duo consisting of electronic music producers Skrillex and Diplo, formed in 2013. They released their first official single, "Take Ü There", featuring vocals from Kiesza, on September 17, 2014. It was released on February 27, 2015, by Owsla and Mad Decent, Skrillex and Diplo's respective labels. The album features collaborations with a range of artists including Kiesza, AlunaGeorge, 2 Chainz, Missy Elliott and Justin Bieber. It also features the Trinidadian soca artist Bunji Garlin. The album produced the internationally successful single "Where Are Ü Now" featuring Justin Bieber.
