1987 NFL season Sports season

The 1987 NFL season was the 68th regular season of the National Football League. This season featured games predominantly played by replacement players as the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) players were on strike from weeks four to six with week three being cancelled in its entirety. The season ended with Super Bowl XXII, with the Washington Redskins defeating the Denver Broncos, 42–10, at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego. The Broncos suffered their second consecutive Super Bowl defeat. As of the conclusion of the 2021 NFL season, this is the most recent NFL campaign in which regular-season games were impacted by a labor conflict.

<i>Lombardi</i> (film)

Lombardi is a 2010 documentary film surrounding Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Vince Lombardi produced by NFL Films and HBO. The documentary is one of three productions detailing Lombardi, along with a Broadway theatre and ESPN feature film. Besides focusing on his coaching career with the Green Bay Packers, it also details his playing days at Fordham University and being part of the Seven Blocks of Granite offensive line, along with being a high school coach and teacher at Englewood, New Jersey's St. Cecilia High School. Among the people interviewed are Lombardi's children and Hall of Famers Sam Huff, Frank Gifford, Bart Starr and Sonny Jurgensen. HBO found many of the clips in the documentary at the UCLA Film and Television Archive. The documentary was aired at Lambeau Field on November 18, the Pro Football Hall of Fame on November 27, and the College Football Hall of Fame on December 1 before airing on HBO on December 11.

Home is an American documentary streaming television series produced for Apple TV+. In January 2018, Apple gave the production a series order consisting of a single season of nine episodes. It is produced by three media companies: MediaWeaver, Four M Studios and Altimeter Films, premiered on April 17, 2020. On the 8th June ‘Home’ was nominated best documentary series, at the Critics' Choice Real TV Awards.
