NGC 7562 is an elliptical galaxy located in the constellation Pisces. It was discovered on October 25, 1785 by the astronomer William Herschel. [2]

According to a study published in 1996, NGC 7562 exhibits interstellar dust in regions near its core and a perturbed, shell-like or ripple-like structure in its outer regions. The authors of this study suggest these features could be due to accretion of material from NGC 7557 or to gravitational interaction with it. [3]
