Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a British public sector healthcare provider located in Cambridge, England. It was established on 4 November 1992 as Addenbrooke's National Health Service Trust, and authorised as an NHS foundation trust under its current name on 1 July 2004.
The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust provides adult district general hospital services for Birmingham as well as specialist treatments for the West Midlands.

The National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). Since 1948, they have been funded out of general taxation. There are three systems which are referred to using the "NHS" name. Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland was created separately and is often locally referred to as "the NHS". The four systems were established in 1948 as part of major social reforms following the Second World War. The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care. In England, NHS patients have to pay prescription charges; some, such as those aged over 60 and certain state benefit recipients, are exempt.
NHS targets are performance measures used by NHS England, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, and the Health and Social Care service in Northern Ireland. These vary by country but assess the performance of each health service against measures such as 5 hour waiting times in Accident and Emergency departments, weeks to receive an appointment and/or treatment, and performance in specific departments such as oncology.
Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is an acute hospital trust which, until 2019, operated Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, North Manchester General Hospital, the Royal Oldham Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary, all in Greater Manchester. It is now part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group. North Manchester General Hospital was formally acquired by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust on April 1st 2021.
Virgin Care was a British private provider of community health and social services, commissioned by the National Health Service and local authorities in England. From 2010 the company was known as Virgin Care and was part of Virgin Group. In December 2021, it was acquired by Twenty20 Capital and rebranded as HCRG Care Group.
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS Foundation Trust providing health services in North Lancashire, England. It runs Blackpool Victoria Hospital which is a large busy acute hospital; two smaller community hospitals - Clifton Hospital and Fleetwood Hospital; the National Artificial Eye Service; Blenheim House Child Development Centre and community health services for North Lancashire.
Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals (WWL) NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS Foundation Trust providing services in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan and Wrightington, England. It was formed on 1 April 2001 by the merger of Wrightington Hospital NHS Trust and Wigan and Leigh Health Services NHS Trust, and became an NHS Foundation Trust in December 2008. "Teaching Hospitals" has been included in its name since 1 April 2020.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, abbreviated as BSUH, was an NHS foundation trust ran two acute hospitals, the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. It also operated a number of other hospitals and medical facilities, including the Royal Alexandra Children's and Sussex Eye Hospitals in Brighton, Hove Polyclinic, the Park Centre for Breast Care at Preston Park and Hurstwood Park Neurosciences Centre in Haywards Heath. The Trust also provided services in Brighton General Hospital, Lewes Victoria Hospital, Bexhill Renal Satellite Unit, Eastbourne District General Hospital and Worthing Hospital.
East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust was created in April 2000, by merger of the former East Hertfordshire and North Hertfordshire NHS trusts. It runs Lister Hospital, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, the New QEII Hospital, Hertford County Hospital, Bedford Dialysis Unit and Harlow Renal Unit.
Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is an NHS trust which runs Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. It is one of six centres used by the Defence Medical Services.
