NYC Arts, stylized as NYC-ARTS and formerly called Sunday Arts and SundayArts Primetime, is a program dedicated to promoting cultural groups, activities and events in the New York tri-state area produced by and aired by WNET. It is also aired on its sister stations, WLIW in Long Island and NJTV in New Jersey.
The show and its official blog [1] debuted in March 2008 as SundayArts and is hosted by Paula Zahn and Philippe de Montebello with cultural news reports by Christina Ha. The show was renamed from SundayArts to NYC-Arts effective February 2, 2012. [2] The blog also moved to NYC-ARTS.Org. The final episode aired under the SundayArts Primetime banner was January 26, 2012. [3]
On its official website, NYC-ARTS "aims to increase awareness of New York City’s nonprofit cultural organizations, whose offerings greatly benefit residents and visitors—from children to adults, and teenagers to senior citizens" via its various social media platforms, and television shows. [4]

Owned by The WNET Group, it is a sister station to the area's secondary PBS member, Garden City, New York–licensed WLIW, and two class A stations: WMBQ-CD, and WNDT-CD. The Daytime Emmy Awards, or Daytime Emmys, are part of the extensive range of Emmy Awards for artistic and technical merit for the American television industry. Bestowed by the New York-based National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), the Daytime Emmys are presented in recognition of excellence in American daytime television programming. The first ceremony was held in 1974, expanding what was originally a prime time-themed Emmy Award. Ceremonies generally are held in May or June.

The New Jersey Network (NJN) was a network of public television and radio stations serving the U.S. state of New Jersey. NJN was a member of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for television and the National Public Radio (NPR) for radio, broadcasting their programming as well as producing and broadcasting their own programming, mostly relating to issues in New Jersey. With studios in both Trenton and Newark, NJN's television network covered all of New Jersey, plus parts of Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and Delaware. Up, branded in its final incarnation as Up with David Gura, was a news and opinion television program that aired weekends on MSNBC. The program debuted September 17, 2011, as Up with Chris Hayes, and was hosted by Hayes until March 2013 when he left to host All In with Chris Hayes, a new MSNBC weekday primetime program. Steve Kornacki's first episode aired April 13, 2013; he left in October 2015 for MSNBC dayside. The program ended in January 2016 for MSNBC's special political coverage. MSNBC Live aired in its place with Alex Witt and Frances Rivera from 2016 to 2018. The program was revived in 2018, hosted by David Gura until it was replaced in 2020 by a new program hosted by Ali Velshi.
Vortexx was an American Saturday morning children's television programming block that aired on The CW from August 25, 2012 to September 27, 2014. Programmed by Saban Brands, it replaced Toonzai, a block that was programmed by 4Kids Entertainment until its bankruptcy. The Vortexx block primarily featured animated programs, although it also featured several live-action series, including the Lost Galaxy installment of the Power Rangers franchise, and the WWE wrestling series WWE Saturday Morning Slam.
