Humberto Vicente Castagna, better known as Cacho Castaña, was an Argentine singer, songwriter, pianist and actor. Pereza was a Spanish rock group from Alameda de Osuna (Madrid) comprising Rubén Pozo Prats and José Miguel Conejo Torres, artistically known as Rubén and Leiva. They have recorded six albums Pereza, Algo para cantar, Animales (Animals), Los amigos de los animales, Aproximaciones (Approximations) released in the summer of 2007, Aviones (Aeroplanes), released in August 2009, and a last compilation that includes two previously unreleased discs: “Mama Quiero Ser una Estrella del Rock'n’Roll” and “Baires”, recorded and mixed in Argentina. The group has also released two DVDs. The first was called Algo para encantar and it contains videos from their previous album Algo para cantar and some live tracks. The second DVD is called Barcelona, which is a recording of a live concert in that city along with a CD called Rarezas (Rarities), which contains previously unreleased tracks from the band's early days.

Juguemos a Cantar, was a children's competition festival that was held yearly in Mexico City beginning in 1982. Televisa produced this show, and it was transmitted on the program, Siempre En Domingo, which was hosted by Raúl Velasco. This competition was developed to seek out young talent, and was open to all Mexican resident children up to the age of 13. Juguemos a Cantar was first and foremost a "Festival De La Canción", meaning that the songwriter and the song itself is celebrated along with the performer. All songs performed in the competition were required to be original, and the song writing is judged, as well as the artist performance. The popularity of its first transmission in 1982 made it one of the most important talent Festivals in all of Latin America. In the years it aired, it served to propel an impressive number of artists, such as: Lucero, Thalía, Edith Márquez, Eduardo Capetillo, and Lorenzo Antonio, as well as many songwriters, such as Omar Alfanno, Tirzo Paiz, Lorenzo Antonio, and Sergio Andrade.
Jake & Blake is an Argentine sitcom, starring Benjamín Rojas. It tells the story of identical twin brothers separated at birth, who after meeting change places. It was released on 29 November 2009 as a pilot episode, and officially released on 7 December on Disney Channel Latin America. It was created by Cris Morena and is produced by Cris Morena Group and RGB Entertainment. This production was filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina entirely in English. Despite being recorded in that language, all the actors are from Argentina, still starring Rojas.
