Rasipuram Krishnaswami Iyer Narayanaswami, better known as R. K. Narayan, was an Indian writer and novelist known for his work set in the fictional South Indian town of Malgudi. He was a leading author of early Indian literature in English along with Mulk Raj Anand and Raja Rao.

Mohabbatein is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film written and directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, and newcomers Uday Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Preeti Jhangiani. It narrates the story of Narayan, the strict principal of Gurukul college whose daughter Megha, commits suicide after he opposes her relationship with Raj, a music teacher at the college. The story follows Raj aiding with three Gurukul students and their love interests to rebel against Narayan's intolerance of love.

The Galafi–Nagad High Voltage Power Line, is a 230 kV double circuit high-voltage electricity power transmission line that is planned to connect the high voltage substation at Galafi, Djibouti to another high voltage substation at Nagad, Djibouti. The power project also involves the strengthening of the high voltage transmission line between Samera, Ethiopia and Galafi, Djibouti to augment that part of the Ethiopian grid and minimize the possibility of "isolation of the Djibouti national grid" and end of circuit issues in Nagad. This interconnection between the national grids of Ethiopia and Djibouti, is the second, the first one having been established in 2011.
Indian Idol is an Indian Hindi-language singing reality show of Sony TV. It is an Indian version of the British show Pop Idol and is part of the Indian Idol series. It has aired on Sony Entertainment Television since 2004. Originally produced by Miditech Studios and its iconic producer-brothers, Niret Alva, Nikhil J Alva and Nivedith Alva, the series was an instant success. The brothers produced the first 5 seasons of the series and were instrumental in laying the foundation for its future success.
Ramesh Upreti is a Nepalese actor known for his work in Nepali cinema. He made his debut through film Karodpati in 1997. He was one of the prominent actors of the late 1990s and the early 2000s. He eventually relocated to the United States, took a significant break from his acting career; and made his come back to the industry with Bracelet (2016) and Aishwarya (2017).
