Nagasubramanian Chokkanathan (born January 17, 1977) better known by his pen name N.Chokkan is a Tamil Writer who has written two novels and nearly 100 short stories. His works has been translated into other Indian languages. Apart from this, he has written columns in several Tamil magazines.
Nagasubramanian Chokkanathan graduated with a bachelor's degree in production engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in 1998. He then worked with BaaN Info Systems for two years, then with BroadVision as principal consultant for three years and as director for in InFact Infortech for four years. He is currently[ when? ] serving as senior software development engineer in a technology firm. He also holds a master's diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis University, Pune. [1]
His interest for writing came from his blind aunt for whom he used to read a lot of books. His love for books then made him to write few detective stories, which are not yet published. His first short story was published in 1997.
His entry into non-fiction was started by a publishing house approaching him to write a biography of Sachin Tendulkar. He then wrote biographies of businessmen, politicians and people who shaped the world. The list includes Narayana Murthy, Azim Premji, Dhirubhai Ambani, Walt Disney, and Charlie Chaplin.

Kannadasan was an Indian philosopher, poet, film song lyricist, producer, actor, script-writer, editor, philanthropist, and is heralded as one of the greatest and most important lyricists in India. Frequently called Kaviarasu, Kannadasan was most familiar for his song lyrics in Tamil films and contributed around 5000 film lyrics apart from 6000 poems and 232 books, including novels, epics, plays, essays, his most popular being the 10-part religious book on Hinduism, Arthamulla Indhu Matham. He won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel Cheraman Kathali in the year 1980 and was the first to receive the National Film Award for Best Lyrics, given in 1969 for the film Kuzhanthaikkaga.
Oru Kalluriyin Kathai is a 2005 Indian Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by newcomer Nandha Periyasamy. It stars Arya and Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles alongside an ensemble supporting cast including Jaivarma, Santhanam, and Charuhasan. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with editing by Kola Bhaskar and cinematography by R. Madhi. The film released in 2005 and was deemed a success upon its release. The film was later dubbed into Telugu and released as College Days in 2008.
Attoor Ravi Varma was an Indian poet and translator of Malayalam literature. One of the pioneers of modern Malayalam poetry, Ravi Varma is a recipient of Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Poetry and Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Translation, besides many other honours. Oru Kuppai Kathai is a 2018 Indian Tamil drama film produced by Aravindan, Ramadhoss, and Aslam. It was written and directed by debutant Kaali Rangaswamy. The film stars dance choreographer Dinesh in his debut as lead actor with Manisha Yadav and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The film's music was composed by Joshua Sridhar with cinematography by Mahesh Muthuswami and editing by Gopi Krishna. The film was released in 25 May 2018 to positive reviews from critics.
