Naked Violence a hardcore punk from Portland, Oregon, created by Frankie Violence and Mark Rhemrev in 1991. They brought back the rebellious feel and the aggressiveness lost by the grunge and alternative music movement. Inspired by the lyrics of such bands as The Dwarves and Black Flag. Playing songs that were easily offensive in Portland and received a lot of bad press that never mentioned the music. Jumping on tours with such bands as The Mentors, Nashville Pussy, Gas Huffer, Dayglo Abortions, D.R.I. and G.G. Allin in his last appearance in the northwest. As Jeff "Filthy" Thomas joined to be the first second guitarist, Mark Rhemrev left the band to join The Weaklings. The band parted ways in 2004.
Frankie Violence was often recognized by his roaring bass sound. His nephew is American electronic musician and content creator Jabrication (real name Joshua Burley).

Sawyer Brown is an American country music band. It was founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by Mark Miller, Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard, Bobby Randall, Joe "Curly" Smyth (drums), and Jim Scholten. The five musicians were originally members of country singer Don King's road band, but chose to stay together after King retired in 1981. After competing on the television competition series Star Search and winning that show's grand prize, they signed to Capitol Records in 1984. The band recorded for Capitol between then and 1991, and for Curb Records between 1991 and 2005, except for a short time in 2003 when they were signed to Lyric Street Records. Pegboy is an American punk band from Chicago, Illinois with a relatively large cult following. Former Naked Raygun bassist Pierre Kezdy became the permanent bass player in 1994. After the reformation of Naked Raygun, Mike Thompson took over for Kezdy on bass.

Unashamed was a Christian hardcore punk band that became one of the founding bands in the Spirit-Filled HardCore movement. After signing with Tooth & Nail, the band toured until their "final" show at Cornerstone Festival in 1998. In 2009, the band announced that they were reforming with many of their original line-up, and would begin touring hard into 2010.

Bored were an Australian punk band formed in Geelong in 1987. The original line-up was Grant Gardner on bass guitar, Adrian Hann on keyboards, Justin Munday on drums, John Nolan on guitar and Dave Thomas on guitar and vocals. In 1989 Gardner was replaced by Tim Hemensley. Both Hemensley and Nolan left in 1991 to form Powder Monkeys. Bored! released five studio albums by 1993 and disbanded later that year. Thomas briefly joined Magic Dirt and subsequently enlisted various line-ups for reformed versions of Bored! in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
