Nakuru West Constituency is a former electoral constituency in Kenya. It was renamed to Molo Constituency in 1988.

Kenya's well known politician Godana Bonaya was its first member of parliament, and he represented the constituency until his demise in a Kenya Air Force Y-12 plane crash on 10 April 2006 in which all the legislators from Marsabit county perished.

The 'Kenya Economic Stimulus Program was a spending plan initiated by the Government of Kenya to boost economic growth and lead the Kenyan economy out of a recession at the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It was introduced in the 2009/2010 Budget Speech in parliament by Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta. Its aim was to jumpstart the Kenyan economy towards long term growth and development, after the 2007/2008 post election violence that affected the Kenyan economy. Other economic problems included prolonged drought, a rally in oil prices and food prices, and the effects of the 2008/09 global economic crisis. The stimulus was a response to the decline in the economic growth rate from 7.1% in 2007 to 1.7% in 2009.
