Nama is a Greek pop/jazz/new age music group which started its career 1992 with the debut album NAMA. It was formed by singer Iphigenia and composer Aris Pavlis, who has previously been a member of the electropop group "Cinema".
After seven albums and two times awarded for best pop group in Greece by the Arion music awardsIFPI Greece 2002 and 2006, they recorded their last album in winter 2008.
In the two that followed, there was pressures from the music industry for every band to relinquish any sense of artistic integrity that they might possess, and collaborate with artists of completely different genres, so as to combine the artist 'selling power and create a monstrous yet more profitable project for the record labels. NAMA found a way to avoid this restriction whilst still complying with the terms of their contract - to produce a third record. In 1995 they released "ANAMNISIS" again with LYRA. In this album NAMA reinvented ten old songs-Including their first hit,"Odysseus". At first it appeared, as though it would be difficult to obtain permission from composers such as Mimis Plessas, Manos Hatzidakis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Manolis Chiotis, amongst others. Nevertheless, every composers and lyricist approached readily agreed, testament to the respect that NAMA has. Moreover, songs like "MIA AGAPI GIA TO KALOKAIRI " quickly became classics.
'ENA MAKRY TAXIDI','NAMA's sixth album, was released by MBI in 2005. It produced yet another summer hit song in 'ZESTO KALOKAIRI'.

Göran BrorBennyAndersson is a Swedish musician, composer and producer best known as a member of the pop group ABBA and co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia! For the 2008 film version of Mamma Mia! and its 2018 sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, he worked also as an executive producer. Since 2001, he has been active with his own band Benny Anderssons orkester.
Antique is a Swedish-Greek singing duo consisting of Helena Paparizou and Nikos Panagiotidis, originating from Sweden and combining Greek popular music and lyrics with a Nordic dance-pop beat. Both Paparizou and Panagiotidis were born and raised in Sweden by Greek parents. They were the first ever to be nominated for a Swedish Grammis in the category modern dance with a Greek song. In 2001, Antique were selected to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with the song "Die for You", sung in a blend of English and Greek, ending with a third place – only behind Estonia and hosts Denmark. This group is famous in Scandinavian countries, Cyprus, Greece, Germany and Italy. After 19 years of hiatus the group reunited in March 2022 in Greece releasing a cover hit song from 90's meant to be their comeback in music industry.
Sarbel-Michael Maronitis known mononimously as Sarbel, is a British-Cypriot pop singer. His singles include "Se Pira Sovara" [ Greek: 'I've just taken you seriously'], and albums Parakseno sinesthima ['Strange feeling'], Sahara and Kati san esena ['Something reminiscent of you']. Ηe represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with "Yassou Maria".
Panagiota-Calliope Zina, known professionally as Peggy Zina, is a Greek singer. She made her recording debut in 1995 with her self-titled album. She has since released twelve studio albums and is a high-profile artist in the Greek music industry. On 15 March 2010, Alpha TV ranked Zina the 24th top-certified female artist in the nation's phonographic era, totalling nine platinum and two gold records.
Ble is a Greek pop rock band, formed in 1996 by George Papapostolou and George Parodis (lyrics). Theodosia Tsatsou and Natasa Alexiou completed the current lineup of the band in 1996. The name Ble means blue. Their music is characterised by their dark and introspective album, Enohes.
Haris Alexiou is a Greek singer whose career has spanned over 5 decades. She is one of the most popular singers in Greece. She has worked with important Greek songwriters and composers, has performed at top musical theatres all over the world, and has received several awards. She has recorded over thirty albums and has been featured on albums of other musicians. On 14th March 2010, Alpha TV ranked Alexiou as the first top-certified female artist in Greece in the phonographic era. She is the highest selling Greek female artist and third overall, behind George Dalaras and Yiannis Parios. Eight of her personal albums released between 1977 and 2003 have totaled 1.5 million sales, the only Greek female artist to do so.
Arhizo Polemo is the seventh studio album by Greek artist, Katy Garbi. It was released on 10 May 1996 by Sony Music Greece and certified gold in 14 days, but after months received triple-platinum certification, selling over 180,000 units*. The majority of the album was written by Phoebus with contributions by Andreas Mexas, Charis Andreadis, Giannis Doxas and Smaroula Maragkoudaki. It was ranked among the best-selling Greek albums of 1996 and is Katy's top-seller album, containing many of her most successful songs like "Tha Melagholiso", "Mia Fora Ki Enan Kairo", "Hamena" and "Perasmena Xehasmena".
Glykeria is a Greek singer active in Greece and Cyprus, while also gaining fame in Israel, France, Turkey, Spain, and England. Her career has spanned over 30 years and is marked by several multi-platinum releases. On 14 March 2010, Alpha TV ranked Glykeria the third top-certified female artist in the nation's phonographic era.

Dos Mou Ena Fili... Afto to Kalokairi is an album by the Greek singer Mando. It was released in Greece in 1989 by Minos and is her first official Greek release. Its songs enjoyed airplay on Greek radio, introducing Mando to the audience of mainstream music.

Dipla Se Sena is the first greatest hits album by popular Greek artist Natassa Theodoridou. It was released in December 2008 by Sony BMG Greece. The three disc album includes three new songs composed by Giorgos Theofanous that showed in her album Mia Kokkini Grammi, 37 hit singles and a DVD containing 20 music videos.

Jack K. Pleis was an American jazz pianist, arranger, conductor, composer and producer. He recorded on London and Decca Records in the 1950s, and Columbia Records in the 1960s. During the course of his career, Pleis worked with many artists, including Louis Armstrong, Harry Belafonte, Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr., Benny Goodman, Earl Grant, Brenda Lee, and Joe Williams. Between 1950 and 1976, more than 150 songs were arranged by Pleis. His surname is pronounced "Pleece".

Nikos Portokaloglou is a Greek singer-songwriter and lyricist. He started his career in 1980 as a founding member of Fatme. The band's first, self-titled album was released in 1982 and followed up by another five in the same decade, among them Taxidi and Vgenoume apo to tounel. In 1990, Portokaloglou embarked on a solo career, which he continues to pursue. Notable solo albums of his include Ta karavia mou keo, Dipsa, and Brazilero, which are the soundtrack for the eponymous movie. Portokaloglou further scored the films Akropol and Valkanizater. In 2002 he won three Arion awards in the categories "Best Song", "Best Entechno Album" and "Best Movie Soundtrack". He has cooperated with other well-known singers from Greece such as Haris Alexiou, Melina Kana and Eleftheria Arvanitaki.
Giorgos Sabanis is a Greek singer-songwriter and athlete. He was the runner in the segment honouring of all previous Olympiads, at the 2004 Summer Olympics opening ceremony. Giorgos Sabanis is an athletics national champion at 100 m, with 14 Pan-Hellenic gold medals and other individual distinctions. After leaving his career as an athlete, he became one of the most famous Greek performers.
