Nana Bediatuo Asante is a Ghanaian administrator,lawyer and consultant. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party. He is the current Executive Secretary to the President of Ghana and the Apagyahene of Akyem Abuakwa. And he is also an astute Public Servant.
Married to Oluwafemi Adetola
Asante started his legal practice with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton &Garrison,in New York before joining the African Development Bank and Databank as a Consultant and General Counsel respectively. [1] In 2000,he co-founded Faith Brothers Ltd,an investment holding company with Mawuli Ababio in Accra. The company later acquired Citi Savings and Loans Limited,where he served as a Managing Director. The company was subsequently converted into Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited and was acquired by Access Bank Plc of Nigeria in 2019. [2] [3]
In January 2017 he was appointed the Executive Secretary at the Flagstaff House by President Nana Akuffo-Addo. [4] [5] [6]
In June 2024,he was appointed Ambassador at Large. [7]
While attending the 79th UN General Assembly with the President,Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,he suffered an illness. [8] [9]
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is the governing body of association football in Ghana and is based in Accra the capital of Ghana. Founded in 1957,the Association was dissolved by the Ghanaian Minister of Sport,Isaac Kwame Asiamah,on 7 June 2018,after the discovery of corruption in the association through investigative videos. In October 2019,a new president,Kurt Okraku,was elected as the association reconvened upon the completion of the work of the FIFA Normalization Committee. Mark Addo was later elected vice president in November 2019. Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has been re-elected as President of the Ghana Football Association during their 2023 Elective Congress in Tamale in the Northern region Ghana.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is a Ghanaian politician who has served as the president of Ghana since 2017. He previously served as Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007 under the Kufuor-led administration.
Yaw Osafo-Maafo is a Ghanaian politician who was appointed in April as the senior presidential advisor to the Akufo-Addo Administration 2021. He was Senior Minister in the Akufo-Addo Administration from 2017 to 2021. He was Member of Parliament for Akim Oda from 1997 to 2009,and previously served as Finance Minister and in other cabinet roles in the Kufuor Administration between 2001 and 2009.
Bice Osei Kuffour is a Ghanaian hiplife musician,known popularly by the name Obour,which means "stone" in the Akan language. He is the immediate past president of the Musicians Union of Ghana,an umbrella group that unites all musicians in Ghana irrespective of genre. Bice Osei Kuffour contested the NPP primaries elections in the Asante Akyem South constituency as a parliamentary candidate. He was later appointed as secretary to the NPP 2020 Campaign Ashanti Region Advertising Committee. Obour is an alumnus of the University of Ghana,the US International Visitor Leadership Programme,Aspen Global Leadership Network,and African Leadership Initiative of West Africa. He was the youngest recipient of the State Grand Medal Honour given by President J. A Kufuor in 2008. He is a social activist who doubles as a National Road Safety Ambassador;W.H.O Tuberculosis Ambassador British Council &Forest Commission of Ghana Climate Change Ambassador. He is president and Founder of the Christiana Addo Memorial Foundation which promotes education,sanitation,personal hygiene,and youth empowerment in Asante Akyem,and on December 22,2021 was appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo,as the Acting Managing Director of Ghana Post.
The Minister for Finance and Economic Planning is the Ghanaian government official responsible for the Ministry of Finance of Ghana. The Minister for Finance since January 2017 has been Ken Ofori-Atta,co-founder and former chairman of the Databank Group in Ghana. He was appointed by President Akufo-Addo following the Ghanaian general election in December 2016. Kwesi Botchwey stayed in office the longest,first under Jerry Rawlings as Secretary for Finance in the PNDC military government and then as Minister for Finance in the constitutionally elected Rawlings government at the beginning of the Fourth Republic and was in charge of the Economic Recovery Programme under the auspices of the World Bank which oversaw major economic reform in Ghana.
Kenneth Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta,is a Ghanaian investment banker who served as the Minister for Finance and Economic Planning in the cabinet of Nana Akufo-Addo from 2017 to 2024. He was a co-founder of Databank Group,a Ghanaian financial services company,and served as executive chairman until 2012 when he resigned. He was nominated by President Nana Akufo-Addo on 10 January 2017 and assumed office on 27 January 2017 as finance minister. On February 14,2024,he was relieved of his position as the finance minister of Ghana by Nana Akufo-Addo.
Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey,is a Ghanaian politician who serves as Ghana's minister for foreign affairs and regional integration. She was appointed by Ghanaian president Nana Akufo-Addo as Minister of Foreign Affairs on 10 January 2017. She was a Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom from 2013 to 2021and had served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and a Minister of State at the Ministry of Water Resources,Works and Housing under John Kufuor. She is a member of the New Patriotic Party.

Samuel Abu Jinapor,is a Ghanaian lawyer and a politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency. In 2017,President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo appointed him as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Office of the President,at the age of 33,the youngest in the history of Ghana to occupy such a position. He is currently the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

Jean Adukwei Mensa is a Ghanaian lawyer by profession who has been serving as chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana since July 2018. She was nominated by the President,Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo to take over the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) from her predecessor,Charlotte Osei. Jean Mensa was born on November 12,1971. Prior to assuming the role of chairperson of the EC,Jean Mensa spent an 18-year career at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA),rising to the position of executive director. As the EC chairperson,Jean Mensa declared the then presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the NPP as the president-elect of the December 7th,2020 Presidential Election.

He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and a member of the 8th parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana representing the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency in the North East Region of Ghana. On 21 January 2021,he was nominated by Nana Akufo-Addo to serve as Minister of Youth and Sports.
James Oppong-Boanuh is a Ghanaian lawyer and police officer. He was appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Ghana Police Service by President Nana Akufo-Addo in October 2019 and went on retirement as IGP in August 2021. Prior to being appointed as IGP,Oppong-Boanuh served in different command and staff positions including Aide-de-camp to the IGP,Chief Staff Officer to the IGP;Director-General of Welfare,Director-General of Human Resources;Regional Commander,Director-General of Legal and Prosecutions,Director-General of Administration and Deputy IGP.
