Gideon Akwasi Wiafe (born July 22, 1990) also known as Nana Kwasi Wiafe is a Ghanaian international fashion model, stylist and creative director. He is the founder of ThouArtKwasi, a high fashion styling brand that seeks to create high end fashion editorial looks and esthetics that reflects the stories of individuals and brands in Ghana and other African countries. Early life and education

He had his education at Data Link University College in Tema, Ghana.

Career

Nana Kwasi got his first break when he was photographed by Ghanaian American based Photographer/Creative Director Joshua Kissi & Ghanaian Visual artists Prince Gyasi. He has been featured in both international and local publications like Vogue , [2] CNN Africa, BET International, Afropunk, [3] Nowness, Art News Africa, Okay Africa, Debonair Afrik, Nataal Media, [4] Sunday Times S.A and M Le Magazine Du Monde. [5]

Nana Kwasi featured in both international and local music videos for Sarkodie, [6] Serious Klein, [7] M.anifest [8] and Tneeya. He has worked with a wide range of photographers Joshua Kissi, Trevor Stuurman, Prince Gyasi, Travys Owen, Iseeadifferentyou, Justice Mukheli, Kyle Weeks, Francis Kokoroko and others. [9] Also Nana Kwasi has worked with fashion brands like Ozward Boateng, Diesel, Maxhosa, Vlisco, Studio189, Chusuwannapha, Marianne Fassler, Kente Gentleman, Loza Malèmbho and Jermain Bleu. [10]

Styling

Nana Kwasi worked as a style contributor for Beyoncé's visual album Black Is King. [11] He was one of the stylists for music Already by Beyoncé which featured Shatta Wale. [12] [13]

He also has worked as stylists for a few music productions Fancy by Amaarae and Guda by Ayat which won an award for Best Overall Music Video at the 4Syte Music Video Awards. [14]

Charity works

Nana Kwasi Wiafe is involved with charitable causes, He is a member of a charity foundation called Spread The Love Ghana for the past four years, for which he helps to support the homeless and kids in the city and countryside.

Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae musician. He is the CEO of Burniton Music Group. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. He is also a recipient of two Billboard plaques. He has been described as the king of reggae and dance hall in Africa. Stonebwoy is also an actor, having appeared in the movies Happy Death Day and My name is Ramadan. Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda(born 23 June 1992), better known by her stage name MzVee, is a Ghanaian singer, afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste. Her debut solo album features several hit singles including 'Borkor Borkor', 'Natural Girl' and 'Dancehall Queen'. MzVee was signed to the record label Lynx Entertainment and was the winner of the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. She parted ways with Lynx Entertainment in the year 2019. She is currently a solo artist.

Ayat Maqwam Salis, better known by his stage name Kirani Ayat, is a Ghanaian musician, rapper, singer and producer. Kirani Ayat started his music professionally as Mr. Ayat in 2008 and later rebranded to "Billy Banger" in 2010 during that period, where he recorded and released several mixtapes, which made a little impact locally.
