Guelph is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. George Washington is a marble bust portrait of George Washington, done in the style of a Roman emperor, by the Italian sculptor Giuseppe Ceracchi. It was created as part of a campaign by Ceracchi to build a larger monument to Washington. The bust was thought by many to be one of the most lifelike. It was later used as a model of Washington for works by other sculptors and engravers.

Aganetha Dyck is a Canadian sculptor residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dyck is best known for her work with live honeybees, that build honeycomb on objects that she introduces to honeybee hives. In 2007 Dyck was awarded both Manitoba's Arts Award of Distinction and Canada's Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts.
Young & Giroux is a collaboration between the Canadian artists Daniel Young and Christian Giroux. Young is based between Toronto, Ontario and Berlin, Germany and Giroux lives in Guelph, Ontario, where he teaches in the School of Fine Art and Music of Guelph University. Daniel Young has a degree in Interdisciplinary Geography from the University of Toronto; Christian Giroux is a graduate of the University of Victoria and the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design. In Victoria, Giroux studied with the artists, Mowry Baden and Robert Youds. Young and Giroux were the winners of Canada's Sobey Art Award in 2011. Daniel Young was the Canada Council Artist in Residence at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin for 2011-12.
