Nancy Jane Steen (born January 31, 1950, in Shoreview, Minnesota) is an American television producer, writer and actress.
Steen began her career as an actress at Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1972, she studied with Jacques Lecoq in Paris. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she appeared in such television series as Charlie's Angels , Taxi , Mork & Mindy , and M*A*S*H . [1] In 1980, she wrote for the ABC-TV series Police Squad! and Happy Days .
Her television producing and writing credits also include Happy Days , Night Court , Married... with Children , Caroline in the City , Titus , Roseanne , The Love Boat , Jesse , What I Like About You , Kirk and I'm with Her .
Happy Days is an American television sitcom that aired first-run on the ABC network from January 15, 1974, to July 19, 1984, with a total of 255 half-hour episodes spanning 11 seasons. Created by Garry Marshall, it was one of the most successful series of the 1970s. The series presented an idealized vision of life in the 1950s and early 1960s Midwestern United States, and it starred Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham, Henry Winkler as his friend Fonzie, and Tom Bosley and Marion Ross as Richie's parents, Howard and Marion Cunningham. Although it opened to mixed reviews from critics, Happy Days became successful and popular over time.

Marion Ross is an American actress. Ross also starred in the high-profile, long-anticipated sequel to Terms of Endearment (1983), The Evening Star (1996), in a turn for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress, as well as both a nomination and win for a Lone Star Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Nancy Wesley is a fictional character from the American NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives, played by Patrika Darbo. Nancy was created when the serial's producer Tom Langan wanted a "real woman" as opposed to a "super-skinny" actress to join the cast. Casting director Fran Bascom contacted Darbo with the offer and she accepted. Langan did not require the actress to audition for the role. Nancy is introduced as the wife of Craig Wesley and is described as a loyal spouse. Langan liked the dynamic between the two characters; he believed that "handsome" Craig loved the "not super-thin" Nancy very much. Darbo has spoken about the characters sharing a mutual love and credits her own rapport with Spirtas to the character's popularity.
