Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, often referred to by his initials NTR, was an Indian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, film editor and politician who served as a former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He is regarded as one of the most influential actors of Indian cinema. He starred in over 300 films, predominantly in Telugu cinema, and was referred to as "Viswa Vikhyatha Nata Sarvabhouma". Rao received three National Film Awards for co-producing Thodu Dongalu (1954) and Seetharama Kalyanam (1960) under National Art Theater, Madras, and for directing Varakatnam (1970). In 1968, The Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2013, NTR was voted as "Greatest Indian Actor of All Time" in a CNN-IBN national poll conducted on the occasion of the Centenary of Indian Cinema.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao, widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and film producer, known for his work majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Akkineni received seven state Nandi Awards, five Filmfare Awards South and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. The Highest Honour in Indian Cinema Dada Saheb Phalke Award was given on 38th National Film Awards (1990). He was Honoured with Padma Vibhushan (2011), Padma Bhushan (1988) and Padma Shri (1968), India's second, third and fourth highest civilian awards, for his contributions to the fields of Art and Cinema.
Cherukuri Ramoji Rao was an Indian businessman, media proprietor and film producer. He was head of the Ramoji Group which owns the world's largest film production facility Ramoji Film City, Eenadu newspaper, ETV Network of TV channels, film production company Ushakiran Movies.

Rasool Ellore Reddy, also known as Rasool, is an Indian cinematographer, screenwriter, and director known for his works in Telugu, and Hindi films. He is the brother-in-law and cousin of noted cinematographers, S. Gopal Reddy and Sameer Reddy, respectively. He is known for his works in films such as Gaayam, Gulabi, Chitram, and others. He made his debut as a director with the romantic comedy, Okariki Okaru. He has garnered three state Nandi Awards.
Bulemoni Venkateshwarlu is an Indian businessman, Telugu Cinema journalist, writer, and film director. He is the son of B. Kanakappa, who is a Government Primary School teacher. Venkateshwarlu was a noted journalist, and he is into a media career from 1990. In recognition for his efforts in researching films he has received the Nandi Award as Best Book Writer and Journalist by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
G. Ramineedu was an Indian film director who worked in Telugu cinema. He is known for films such as Maa Inti Mahalakshmi (1959), Chivaraku Migiledi (1960), Palnati Yuddham (1966), Bangaru Sankellu (1968). Maa Inti Mahalakshmi and Palnati Yuddham received the Certificate of Merit for Best Feature Film in Telugu at the National Film Awards. Maa Inti Mahalakshmi also won the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu. His last film Yagnam (1991) won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film.
Boyapati Srinivas, commonly known as Boyapati Srinu, is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter. Best known for directing action films in Telugu cinema, Boyapati has garnered two state Nandi Awards.
Kanaala Nanjunda Tirumala Sastry was an Indian film critic, screenwriter, director, littérateur, and producer, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has garnered six National Film Awards, three Nandi Awards and three International honors.
N. Trivikrama Rao was an Indian film producer, director and screenwriter in Telugu cinema. He was the younger brother of N. T. Aame (transl. She) is a 1994 Telugu-language drama film by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. The film stars Srikanth, Ooha and Naresh. The film was remade in Kannada as Thaliya Sowbhagya (1995) and in Tamil as Thaali Pudhusu (1997). The film won two Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Award. Aame was the first movie to feature Srikanth and Ooha together.
Satish Vegesna is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema. His film Shatamanam Bhavati received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and the state Nandi Awards for Best Direction, and Best Home Viewing Feature Film.
Pulagam Chinnarayana is an Indian Telugu cinema journalist, author, film critic, lyricist, dialogue writer and a public relations officer. He started his career as a film journalist for the magazines Sivaranjani, Number One, Chitram, Santhosham. Later, he worked for Sakshi for eight years where he reached a level of in-charge from being a regular reporter. He authored various Telugu books on Telugu Cinema like Jandhya Marutham, Aanaati Aanavaallu, Cine Poornodayam, Svarnayuga Sangeetha Darshakulu, Pasidi Thera, Cinema Venuka Storeelu, Maya Bazar Madhura Smruthulu and Vendi Chandamamalu. He won Nandi Award for Best Book on Telugu Cinema from Andhra Pradesh state Government twice for his books Aanaati Aanavaallu and Pasidi Thera in 2009 and 2015 respectively. He also won Nandi Award for Best Critic in 2014.
